What is physical therapy for endometritis?

Endometritis is a common gynecological disease in women, and its harm cannot be ignored. Many women suffer from endometritis. Long-term and repeated attacks cause many gynecological inflammations and also affect their sexual life. Severe patients may even suffer from infertility. Many patients with mild to moderate illness prefer drug treatment, which has few side effects on the body and will not cause sequelae. So what should we pay attention to in physical therapy? Let me show you around.

Physical therapy for endometritis: Physical therapy is the most commonly used and effective treatment for chronic endometritis and cervical erosion, including microwave, laser, freezing, infrared, etc. Microwave treatment for cervical erosion uses the thermal effect of microwaves on tissues to coagulate tissue proteins, achieving the purpose of cauterization, coagulation and hemostasis.

Physical therapy for endometritis should pay attention to the following matters:

1. A cervical smear test should be performed routinely before treatment.

2. Acute genital inflammation should be considered a contraindication.

3. Treatment should be carried out within 3-7 days after the menstrual period ends.

4. After physical therapy, there is an increase in vaginal secretions, even a large amount of watery discharge and a little bleeding when the scab falls off.

5. Do not take a bath or do vaginal douching while the wound has not healed (4-8 weeks).

6. Regular follow-up is required after treatment.

After microwave treatment, a large amount of vaginal secretions will often appear due to the healing and repair reaction of the wound. At this time, the patient should keep the vulva clean and wash it frequently, but do not use vaginal suppositories to do vaginal flushing on your own. Wash it frequently and use sanitary pads when necessary. Since the wound healing time of the cervix is long, sexual intercourse should be avoided as much as possible during this period. This is because sexual intercourse will not only affect the healing of the cervical wound due to mechanical stimulation, but may also cause gynecological inflammation and affect the repair of normal cervical tissue.

Most patients with early endometritis can be cured with physical therapy. You must have confidence in your chances of recovery and persist in treatment. Otherwise, you will fail halfway. If patients with endometritis still do not recover after physical therapy, they should go to the hospital for other treatments in time to control the disease in time and avoid adverse consequences.
