What should I do if I suffer from right uterine adnexitis?

The uterus is an organ unique to women. It is a part of the female reproductive organs of humans and animals and is the place where fetuses or young animals develop and grow. It is the sixth internal organ of female friends. So it is said that men have five internal organs and six bowels, but women have six internal organs and six bowels. One more organ means one more place to get sick, especially the reproductive organs, which are extremely prone to disease. Let me tell you about right uterine adnexitis.

The fallopian tubes are adjacent to the ovaries. When inflammation occurs in the fallopian tubes, the fallopian tubes and ovaries are generally referred to as adnexae. Therefore, fallopian tube oophoritis is called uterine adnexitis. Adnexitis is very common. It often starts with an acute inflammatory process and then turns into a chronic one. Sometimes the acute inflammatory process is not obvious and it becomes chronic once discovered.

Chronic salpingitis and pelvic peritonitis are mostly caused by incomplete treatment or lack of attention to treatment of acute salpingo-oophoritis and pelvic peritonitis. Chronic inflammation recurs over time, causing pelvic congestion, connective tissue fibrosis, and adhesion of pelvic organs. The most common symptom of adnexitis in patients is distension and pain in the lower abdomen, which often worsens during menstruation or after fatigue. At the same time, there is increased vaginal discharge, increased menstrual volume, lumbar pain, and some patients may also have pain during sexual intercourse.

During the gynecological examination, the uterus was found to be retroflexed and had poor mobility. A thickened fallopian tube with tenderness could be felt next to the uterus. If an inflammatory mass is formed, the mass may be felt beside the uterus or behind the uterus during examination, and it will be poorly mobile and tender. For patients with obvious symptoms, antibiotics should be used as the first choice for treatment. Antibiotics can kill any remaining pathogenic bacteria and prevent acute attacks. Vaginal medication can also be used for treatment.

In fact, under normal circumstances, the female reproductive system has a natural defense function and can automatically resist bacterial invasion. Only when the body's own resistance is reduced will this disease occur. Therefore, in order to prevent this disease, you only need to ensure your health and do not let your resistance decrease.
