The late blastocyst first approaches the endometrium, adheres to the endometrium and begins to differentiate. The differentiated trophoblast cells penetrate and invade the endometrium, the inner 1/3 of the myometrium and the blood vessels. The blastocyst is completely buried in the endometrium and covered by the endometrium. Implantation is now complete.

At present, the mechanism of embryo implantation has not been fully elucidated, but the factors for successful embryo implantation include high-quality embryos, receptive endometrium and a suitable endocrine environment. When the fertilized egg implants, the woman is generally in the secretory phase of the endometrium, at which time the thickness of the endometrium is between 5-10mm.

Women must do a good job of pre-pregnancy check-up. An endometrium that is too thin or too thick is not conducive to the implantation of the fertilized egg and will directly affect pregnancy.
