How to judge threatened miscarriage

How to judge threatened miscarriage

Threatened abortion refers to a small amount of vaginal bleeding before 28 weeks of pregnancy, followed by paroxysmal lower abdominal pain or back pain. Pelvic examination shows that the cervix is not dilated, the placenta is intact, no pregnancy products are discharged, and the size of the uterus is consistent with the number of weeks of pregnancy. If the symptoms worsen, miscarriage may become inevitable.

A pregnancy that ends before 28 weeks is called a miscarriage. If the pregnancy stops naturally before 12 weeks, it is called early miscarriage. If the pregnancy stops naturally between 13 and 27 weeks, it is called late miscarriage. According to statistics from different regions, classes and ages, the incidence of spontaneous abortion is between 15% and 40%, of which about 75% occur before 16 weeks of pregnancy and 62% occur before 12 weeks of pregnancy.

Miscarriage goes through a series of processes from the beginning to the end. According to its different stages, it can be given different diagnostic names, namely: threatened abortion, inevitable abortion, incomplete abortion, complete abortion and missed abortion.

Threatened abortion refers to vaginal bleeding in the early stages of pregnancy (before 28 weeks of pregnancy). The bleeding is usually less than normal and can last for several days. It is red at first and gradually turns to dark red. It is often followed by paroxysmal lower abdominal pain or low back pain, lower abdominal distension and pain accompanied by a feeling of low back pain and a frequent urination. Gynecological examination showed that the uterus was not enlarged, the amniotic sac was not ruptured, the size of the uterus was consistent with the menstrual phase, and the pregnancy test was positive, which is generally seen in luteal insufficiency and increased uterine sensitivity.

If you experience intermittent lower abdominal pain or standard abdominal pain, back pain, or pelvic pain, the problem may be very complicated. If it is accompanied by spotty bleeding in the vagina or a noticeable feeling of heaviness in the abdomen, it indicates threatened miscarriage.

If the symptoms subside after rest and treatment, you can get pregnant again. If the symptoms worsen, miscarriage is inevitable. Inevitable miscarriage is when vaginal bleeding increases, abdominal pain worsens or amniotic fluid ruptures on the basis of threatened miscarriage. At this time, miscarriage is inevitable, so it is also called inevitable miscarriage. At this time, you should go to the hospital as soon as possible to expel the residual tissue. If the placenta remains for too long, it can cause embryo cysts, resulting in repeated bleeding, anemia and secondary infection, or cause more serious incomplete miscarriage. Incomplete miscarriage is characterized by continuous and heavy bleeding, which may cause shock. It is an emergency and you should go to the hospital immediately for medical treatment if it occurs. Another result of inevitable miscarriage is complete miscarriage, the pregnancy products are completely discharged, the bleeding slowly stops, and if there is no infection, no special solution is given.
