What to prepare before pregnancy

When some couples want to have children, they need to pay attention to some matters. Many times, women are not fully prepared before pregnancy, which leads to dangerous situations for women, especially some women have spontaneous abortions or even deformed fetuses. Therefore, preparation before pregnancy is very important to ensure the safety of pregnant women and fetuses. So what matters need to be prepared before pregnancy?

1. Pay attention to physical examination

Before getting pregnant, female friends must go to the hospital for a physical check-up to understand their health status and see if it is suitable for pregnancy. If it is not suitable for pregnancy, then they must make corresponding adjustments and consider pregnancy after their body is adjusted.

2. Pay attention to folic acid intake

Folic acid can effectively prevent fetal malformations. Women should start taking a certain amount of folic acid three months before pregnancy, and this amount can be maintained until three months after pregnancy.

3. Stay away from cigarettes and alcohol

Women should stay away from cigarettes and alcohol before getting pregnant. Cigarettes and alcohol can cause women to have miscarriages and premature births. They can also affect the normal development of the fetus, leading to low birth weight, respiratory problems, sudden neonatal death, intellectual disabilities, etc.

4. Pay attention to the age of pregnancy

The age at which women become pregnant is very important for eugenics. If women want to give birth to healthy babies, they should become pregnant at the best childbearing age. Generally speaking, it is best for women to get pregnant between the ages of 25 and 30. If they are over 30, the risk of pregnancy increases.

5. Check for German measles

Although German measles is not a serious disease, it will not have much impact on normal adults. However, it is very dangerous for pregnant women. German measles can have a fatal effect on the fetus and can easily lead to miscarriage or serious fetal lesions.

6. Reduce caffeine intake

Caffeine can have adverse effects on the fetus. Women should reduce their caffeine intake before pregnancy, drink less coffee, cola, tea and other caffeinated beverages, and eat less chocolate.

When preparing for the above questions, you need to pay attention to physical safety issues, avoid factors that may cause spontaneous abortion and deformities. The mood and psychology of women in the early stages of pregnancy are very important. You are not allowed to smoke or drink. Stay away from smoking to avoid problems that may affect the fetus. In particular, you should pay attention to taking some foods that promote fetal health.
