How to treat incomplete septate uterus

The uterus is a place where new life is nurtured and an environment where the fruit of love is born, so the uterus is a very important place for a woman. If your uterus is unhealthy, your chances of conceiving a baby are slim and it will be difficult to get pregnant. Therefore, pregnant mothers need to check whether their uterus is healthy before preparing for pregnancy. Let’s take a look at what incomplete septate uterus is and how to treat it.

The incidence of uterine septate and bicornuate uterus is 5%. Uterine septate changes the symmetry of the uterine cavity and may interfere with normal reproductive function. However, most women with uterine septate can give birth normally, and only 20%-25% of pregnancies fail. Uterine septum resection should be considered for primary infertility or refractory infertility caused by uterine septum.

Patients with uterine septate disease are usually asymptomatic.

Some patients may have increased menstruation; but most patients with uterine septate have a history of recurrent miscarriage, infertility, premature birth and abnormal fetal position, and some are discovered during cesarean section or artificial abortion curettage; secondly, some patients are found to have vaginal septate during pelvic examination, and the doctor further examines and finds uterine septate. Even if a woman with a septate uterus becomes pregnant, the incidence of intrauterine growth retardation and intrauterine death is higher because the septum has fewer blood vessels and more fibrous tissue than the normal uterine myometrium, which hinders normal implantation. In addition, the endometrium covering the septum responds poorly to hormonal stimulation, and the septum can hinder normal placental growth and cause early fetal death. If the pregnancy continues, it will develop into intrauterine growth retardation.

Uterine septate is a common condition in which the uterus develops abnormally. If the fusion of the two paramesonephric ducts is incomplete, a septum may be formed in the uterine cavity. A uterus that completely divides the uterine cavity into two parts from the fundus of the uterus to the internal os of the cervix is a complete septate uterus; a uterus that is only partially separated is an incomplete septate uterus.

Treatment options: hysteroscopy, laparoscopy, fluid therapy combined with physical therapy and anti-inflammatory treatment

An incomplete septate uterus makes it very difficult to conceive and can easily cause miscarriage. Therefore, if pregnant mothers are in this situation, it is best to go to the hospital for treatment first, so as to reduce the miscarriage rate and give birth to a healthy and lovely baby. Mothers with uterine abnormalities must not be careless.
