The patients will be very nervous and afraid that they have gynecological inflammation. However, for many reasons, they do not go to the hospital for examination, which makes the patients' condition more serious. The doctor said that the leucorrhea is yellow-green, which means that the patients are infected with bacteria, such as mold, trichomonas, etc. The patients have vaginitis and need treatment to control the condition. So how to treat the leucorrhea that is yellow-green?

Yellow-green leucorrhea is considered to be related to vaginitis, so patients should first diagnose the type of vaginitis so that they can receive effective treatment.

1. Trichomonas vaginitis The trichomonas of Trichomonas vaginitis exist in the glands of the wrinkles and cervix, and also in the urethra and intestines, so it should be treated both internally and externally.

(1) Oral use of anti-trichomonal drugs, such as metronidazole, 200 mg each time, 3 times a day for 7 days. After taking the medicine, test for Trichomonas. If the result is negative, the patient should continue treatment for one course after the next menstruation to consolidate the therapeutic effect.

(2) Local treatment at the same time, such as flushing the vagina with 0.5% to 1% lactic acid or acetic acid solution or 1:5000 potassium permanganate solution or using Oqins, once a day.

2. Fungal vaginitis

To treat candidal vaginitis, you can use 2% to 3% soda solution to rinse the vulva, vagina or take a sitz bath. After gently drying, place 250,000 units of nystatin suppository deep in the vagina, or apply nystatin cream to the vaginal wall, once a night or once in the morning and evening for a total of 10 to 14 days. For example: Shuyin Qumei Powder is a pure Chinese medicine preparation. When using the medicine, first pour the powder into a wooden basin, then pour in an appropriate amount of boiling water, and steam it while it is hot so that the medicinal power can penetrate directly into the vagina. Wait until the medicine becomes warm before applying it to the affected area. Fumigation should be done once in the morning and once in the evening.

3. Nonspecific vaginitis

The drug of choice is metronidazole, 500 mg orally twice a day for 7 days. It can also be applied topically, 200 mg each time, inserted into the vagina, with 7 days as a course of treatment. Clindamycin 300 mg, orally, twice a day for 7 days; or 2% clindamycin ointment, vaginally, once a night for 7 days.

4. Senile vaginitis

To treat senile vaginitis, local medication can be applied in the vagina, and the vagina can be flushed with a Ph4 weak acid formula female care solution once a day to increase vaginal acidity. For patients with more severe inflammation, estrogen therapy is used as an adjunct. 0.125-0.25 mg of diethylstilbestrol is inserted into the vagina once every night, and one course of treatment is 7 days.

The treatment for yellow-green leucorrhea is based on the different types of vaginitis. During the treatment, patients should pay attention to personal hygiene and cooperate with the doctor's requirements for care to avoid misunderstandings in treatment, which will aggravate the patient's condition. The symptoms of yellow-green leucorrhea will be more serious, and the leucorrhea will appear in other colors, such as purulent leucorrhea, bloody leucorrhea, etc., which will cause greater harm.
