Why is women's urine cloudy?

Therefore, turbid urine does not mean proteinuria. If the urine is turbid, a urine microscopy and proteinuria test must be done. Urine microscopy can detect whether the urine is infected. A simple method for detecting proteinuria is to interpret the reaction using a test strip, but false positive results may occur when the test strip is tested. These conditions include the urine acidity being too alkaline, the urine containing metabolites of cephalosporins, penicillins, and sulfonamides, or the urine container and the sampling being contaminated by sterilizing cleaning fluids.

Therefore, if you find that your urine is turbid with white sediment, do not assume that it is urine protein and take kidney-tonifying medicine indiscriminately.
