What to do if you have vaginal warts?

What to do if you have vaginal warts?

Vaginal warts are a common disease that can occur in both men and women. They put great psychological pressure on patients and make them miserable. Some patients have even seen many doctors with little effect, affecting their lives and making their sex lives disharmonious. Vaginal warts make women lose their former beauty. Therefore, women should seek treatment in time. Here's what to do about vaginal warts.

1. Cauliflower-shaped condyloma acuminatum: The lesions are obviously protruding, with a wide base or a thin stalk, and the surface is covered with burrs or coral-like protrusions. After applying 3% acetic acid, the surface tissue swells and turns white like snow. Scattered clusters of flocculent blood vessels can be seen on a white background.

2. Finger-shaped condyloma acuminatum: also known as rod-shaped type, is the early manifestation of the disease. After applying 3% acetic acid to the lesion site, many finger-like protrusions can be seen under colposcopy. The matrix of the protrusions is transparent yellow, and very clear vascular loops can be seen in each finger-like protrusion.

3. Carpet-type condyloma acuminatum: Vaginal condyloma acuminatum is white and flake-like, slightly higher than normal skin and mucous membranes. After applying 3% acetic acid, it turns white locally. There are dot-like or spiral blood vessels scattered on the surface arranged in a flower bed shape, which is a typical reverse mosaic colposcopy image. So what to do about vaginal warts?

Microwave treatment uses a microwave surgical treatment machine and lidocaine local anesthesia. The tip of the rod-shaped radiation probe is inserted into the sharp wet area directly to the base of the wart. When the wart is seen to become smaller, darker in color, and change from soft to hard, the thermal radiation coagulation is complete and the probe can be removed. The coagulated lesions can be removed with tweezers. To prevent recurrence, the remaining base can be coagulated again. Laser therapy, electrocautery therapy, surgical therapy, and cryotherapy should be used to select appropriate methods of treatment based on the condition.

Please remember to wipe from front to back after using the toilet, because the anus may bring a lot of bacteria, so please do not wipe from the anus to the genitals after using the toilet to reduce the chance of infection. Do not flush the vagina, because the vagina has the function of self-cleaning, and deliberate flushing will be harmful. It is best to wash your underwear by hand with mild soap, and do not use strong detergent or washing machine.

Usually, you should wear pure cotton underwear, and avoid underwear made of other fabrics, as it will cause allergies and itchy skin. Don't wear pants that are too tight, as they will not be breathable and will affect recovery. Don't eat spicy or greasy foods, and it's best not to eat starchy foods. Don't drink alcohol or smoke, and eat more fruits and vegetables. Drink plenty of water and maintain a good attitude.
