Pelvic inflammatory disease pain location picture

Pelvic inflammatory disease pain is usually caused by pathogen infection, but it may also be caused by multiple infection routes, and other causes cannot be ruled out.

1. Pathogen infection: It is an exogenous pathogen infection, such as Chlamydia trachomatis and other Chlamydia infections. It may also be an endogenous pathogen infection, which is a vaginal flora infection, such as anaerobic bacteria and aerobic bacteria, as well as Staphylococcus aureus and many others. It may also be caused by a mixed infection. Anti-infective drugs and topical anti-inflammatory drugs are usually required for treatment.

2. Infection route: It usually spreads upward from the eye to the genital tract mucosa, such as the vulva, vagina, endometrium and endocervix, leading to the ovaries and abdominal cavity, etc. It is the main infection route. It may also spread through the lymphatic system or be transmitted through the blood circulation. The possibility of direct spread cannot be ruled out. Symptomatic treatment is required depending on the cause of the spread, and surgery can be performed if necessary.

3. Other reasons: It may be due to age reasons. For example, 15 to 25 years old is at the peak period of pelvic inflammatory disease, which is usually caused by frequent sexual life or cervical columnar epithelium. It may also be caused by sexual life, such as too frequent sexual intercourse or having sexual intercourse at a young age, as well as having multiple sexual partners. It may also be due to failure to do a good job of cleaning and care during menstruation and failure to change sanitary napkins in time.
