This type of drug interferes with the passage of calcium ions through cell membranes and prevents the release of calcium ions from intracellular stores, thereby relaxing smooth muscles, relieving uterine spasmodic contractions, dilating blood vessels, and improving uterine blood supply, thus treating dysmenorrhea. Take 20-40 mg of nifedipine, and 10-30 minutes after administration, uterine contraction will weaken or disappear, the amplitude, frequency and duration of muscle contraction will decrease, the basal tension will decrease, and the pain will be relieved. The drug effect lasts for 5 hours without any side effects.

Antispasmodic sedatives:

Aspirin, atropine, 654-2, chlorpromazine, etc. are commonly used. They are used when dysmenorrhea occurs and can achieve better analgesic effects. If painful shock occurs, morphine or pethidine can be used for intramuscular injection. Repeated use should be avoided as much as possible to prevent addiction.
