Early treatment of breast cancer

Early treatment of breast cancer

The prevalence of breast cancer is attracting more and more attention from women. There is no doubt that it is a major factor affecting women's lives, figure, appearance and physical health. Regular check-ups are necessary. For the treatment of breast cancer, the earlier it is detected, the better the treatment effect. For women, it is necessary to pay attention to their good daily habits and take good care of their breast health. Next, let us popularize the care and early treatment methods of breast cancer.

According to current views, there are two types of factors that lead to breast cancer: congenital factors and acquired factors. Congenital factors mainly refer to genetic factors, such as your mother, sister or blood relative having breast cancer. There are many acquired factors, such as early menarche; late menopause; late childbearing; short breastfeeding period; long-term use of estrogen-containing medicines, supplements, and health products; obesity; irregular lifestyle; high mental stress; long-term negative emotions; certain breast diseases that are not treated for a long time and thus become malignant, etc.

Currently, there are many treatments for breast cancer. Depending on the type and stage of the disease, patients can choose from surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, targeted therapy, and endocrine therapy. Generally speaking, surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, targeted therapy and other methods can basically be completed within six months to one year. If endocrine therapy is required, it will take a longer time, usually requiring regular medication for 5-10 years.

During and after standardized treatment, patients still need to go to the hospital regularly for follow-up examinations. Generally speaking, within 1 year after surgery, the follow-up interval is 3 months; within 2 years after surgery, the follow-up interval is 3-6 months; after 2 years after surgery, follow-up is done every six months; 5 years after surgery, you can consider following up every year.

From this we understand that it is a more serious disease. If it is not discovered in time and not treated early, it may cause the patient to lose his life. Therefore, we must pay attention to disease prevention. Don’t be too anxious in daily life, keep a good mood, and eat a light and nutritious diet to stay away from the arrival of disease and live a healthy life.
