Many female friends will experience varying degrees of abdominal pain during their menstrual period. This is because they often did not pay attention to their diet during the menstrual period, especially often eating raw and cold foods, etc., which led to dysmenorrhea. Severe dysmenorrhea will affect women's normal life. It is best to be able to effectively regulate it in time according to the specific causes of dysmenorrhea. The following editor will introduce some of the causes that are more likely to cause dysmenorrhea. Causes of Dysmenorrhea 1. Qi stagnation and blood stasis Main symptoms: Abdominal distension and pain one or two days before or during menstruation, resistance to pressure, scanty menstrual blood, or poor menstrual discharge, dark purple menstrual blood with clots, pain relieved when the clots are discharged, chest and flank breast swelling, dark purple tongue with petechiae on the sides, deep and stringy pulse. Analysis: The Chong meridian blocks the Qi and blood, causing poor circulation, so there is lower abdominal distension and pain before or during menstruation, resistance to pressure, and scanty menstrual flow or poor discharge; the menstrual blood is stagnant, so it is dark in color and has clots; the stasis under the clots is slightly cleared, so the pain is temporarily reduced; the stasis is discharged with the menstrual blood, so the pain disappears after menstruation. However, if the cause of depression is not eliminated, the abdominal pain will recur during the next menstrual period. The tongue is purple and dark, and the pulse is deep and stringy, both of which are signs of qi stagnation and blood stasis. 2. Cold condensation cells (l) Yang deficiency and internal cold Main symptoms: cold pain in the lower abdomen during or after menstruation, relieved by pressure, less pain when warm, scanty menstrual flow, dark color, soreness and weakness in waist and legs, clear and long urination, white and moist tongue coating, and deep pulse. Analysis: Kidney Yang is weak, Chong, Ren and Baogong are warm first, and blood is stagnant due to deficiency cold, so there is cold pain in the lower abdomen during or after menstruation, and the menstruation is scanty and dark in color; the cold is transformed into heat, so the pain is reduced by heat; it is not due to blood stasis caused by actual cold, so it likes to be pressed. The remaining symptoms are all signs of kidney yang deficiency. (2) Stagnation of cold and dampness Main symptoms: cold pain in the lower abdomen before or during menstruation, pain relieved by warmth, severe pain when pressed, scanty menstrual flow, dark color with clots, nausea and vomiting, fear of cold, loose stools, white and greasy tongue coating, deep and tight pulse. Analysis: The evil of cold and dampness damages the lower part of the body and lodges in the uterus. The blood is coagulated by the cold and cannot flow smoothly, thus causing pain and dark menstrual blood with clots. The cold and dampness block the middle part of the body, suppressing the yang energy and preventing the water and dampness from flowing, causing fear of cold, loose stools, nausea and vomiting. The remaining symptoms are all caused by blockage of cold and dampness. 3. Dampness and heat Main symptoms: Lower abdominal distension and pain before and during menstruation, heavy menstrual flow, red color, thick texture or with clots, usually yellow or foul-smelling vaginal discharge, red tongue with yellow and greasy coating, and stringy and rapid pulse. Analysis: Exogenous or internal damp-heat flows into Chong and Ren meridians, blocking Qi and blood, causing menstruation to be disrupted, resulting in abdominal pain during menstruation; heat disturbing Chong and Ren meridians will cause excessive, red menstrual flow with lumps; heat burning body fluids will cause thick menstrual fluid; damp-heat flowing downward and damaging Ren and Dai meridians will cause vaginal discharge to be yellow or have a foul odor. The tongue and pulse both indicate internal excess of dampness and heat. Therefore, when women often experience dysmenorrhea, they must pay enough attention to it. Generally, for mild sympathy, you can use a hot water bag to apply heat to the lower abdomen, which can relieve dysmenorrhea to a certain extent. For more severe dysmenorrhea, it is best to go to the hospital in time to find out the cause and then receive treatment. |
