I feel uncomfortable in my stomach after doing vaginal ultrasound

There is a big difference between the physical examinations of men and women, which are divided into men's diseases and gynecology. The most obvious examinations are the sexual organs. Women's gynecological examinations are mostly routine leucorrhea examinations, B-ultrasound examinations, etc., and B-ultrasound examinations are divided into abdominal B-ultrasound and vaginal B-ultrasound, also known as vaginal ultrasound. Vaginal ultrasound examination can clearly see the organ problems in the vagina, and the diagnosis of the disease will be more accurate. However, some patients found many problems after vaginal ultrasound. So what is the reason for abdominal pain after vaginal ultrasound?

Why is my stomach hurting after a vaginal ultrasound?

Vaginal ultrasound, also known as intravaginal B-ultrasound, also known as intracavitary B-ultrasound, is a method of ultrasonic diagnosis by placing an ultrasound camera into the vagina or duodenum. It is particularly suitable for observing pelvic organs in the lower pelvis. Compared with abdominal B-ultrasound, the images of transvaginal ultrasound are clearer and more realistic, the results are more accurate, and the subject does not need to "hold urine". It is very suitable for monitoring ovulation, diagnosis of ectopic pregnancy, uterine space-occupying diseases, and diagnosis of polycystic ovary syndrome and chocolate cysts. For women who have had sexual intercourse, vaginal examination can be performed, and for Virgos, duodenum can be examined by B-ultrasound.

Intravaginal B-ultrasound has the following advantages: 1) No need to flush the bladder; can avoid the trouble of drinking a lot of water and holding urine; 2) The image is clearer than abdominal B-ultrasound and the display rate is high; 3) It is more suitable for patients with abdominal hypertrophy, deep ovaries, or difficulties in transabdominal examination.

Therefore, transvaginal ultrasound is required in the following situations:

1. The sonographic manifestations of the uterine wall during a normal menstrual cycle and the perfect and immature follicles in normal uterine and ovarian follicles (the so-called "ovulation detection").

2. Benign uterine tumors: 1. Adenomyosis; 2. Uterine fibroids.

3. Uterine malignant tumors: 1. Endometrial cancer; 2. Cervical cancer.

4. Non-neoplastic cysts of the uterus and ovaries: 1. Polycystic ovary syndrome; 2. Chocolate cyst.

5. Uterine and ovarian tumors.

6. Confirm the diagnosis of early pregnancy as soon as possible.

7. Abnormal early pregnancy, especially ectopic pregnancy (i.e. "ectopic pregnancy"), is a clinical medical crisis and can lead to death if not treated promptly.

After examination, it was found that there are many reasons for abdominal pain, such as inflammation of abdominal organs or poor airway function. The patient also needs to further investigate the cause of the pain and then carry out effective treatment.

What is the reason for abdominal pain after a vaginal ultrasound? The reasons why patients experience this condition are complicated. In addition to the discomfort in the vagina caused by excessive posture during the examination, there is pain caused by body diseases. Currently, vaginal ultrasound must meet certain requirements. Otherwise, B-ultrasound is mostly done on the abdomen, which can also detect problems with multiple organs. After the disease is diagnosed, it can be treated. Some diseases also need to be confirmed by other tests after vaginal ultrasound to avoid abnormal test results.
