What causes calf pain during menstruation?

Menstruation is an "old friend" of every female friend of ours. Under normal circumstances, our menstruation will come every month. Many female friends will experience abdominal pain, back pain, calf pain, etc. during menstruation. So what is the cause of calf pain during menstruation? Let’s understand what causes calf pain during menstruation.

During menstruation, the body is in a special period of stress, so it is prone to fatigue. More acidic substances are produced, which stimulate the peripheral nerves and produce a feeling of soreness and swelling. This feeling of soreness and swelling can be eliminated through massage. Consider it premenstrual syndrome. Symptoms can be alleviated by adjusting the rhythm of daily life, increasing physical exercise, improving nutrition, and reducing stress responses to the environment. Take a rest, check your blood routine, and avoid cold and fatigue

Many women experience back and leg pain before or during their period, sometimes even severe pain, but they don’t know the cause, let alone what to do. I used to have back and leg pain before and during my period. The pain was quite severe once. Later I chose some methods to relieve it and it finally got better. Let me share my experience with you here, I hope it will be helpful to you!

1 First, when my waist and legs started to ache, I immediately went to bed to rest and tried to relax as much as possible. After about an hour when the pain was no longer so severe, I drank a glass of brown sugar water.

2 I felt better after drinking the brown sugar water. I paid close attention to the three meals thereafter. Don’t eat spicy, sour or cold food. When you are at home, try to eat some safe and soothing food. Be extremely careful. Rest as much as possible when you have the chance and don't overwork yourself. And you should relax your mind and not be too nervous.

3 In this way, my waist and legs felt slightly sore for a day, and the pain was almost gone after the next day. What matters most is what I do next. From then on, I started to eat three meals on time, and went to bed no later than 12 o'clock, usually before 11:30. Also, I stopped eating anything too stimulating, spicy, sour, cold, raw, etc., never drank alcohol or smoked, and ate an apple every day. After persisting for a month, my second period was normal and there were no other uncomfortable symptoms. I also fell in love with this lifestyle. I think this is what cured my pain.

It turns out that calf pain during menstruation is a problem that menstruation brings to us women. If we do not pay attention to maintenance during menstruation, doing strenuous exercise or catching a cold will cause calf pain during menstruation. So we must take good care of our bodies during menstruation, not doing strenuous activities, and not catching a cold. Only by paying attention to these precautions can we have a good menstrual period.
