3. Surgical treatment: used for patients who do not respond well to hormone treatment. Bilateral ovarian wedge resection was performed by laparotomy or laparoscopy. Surgical removal of 1/3 of the ovarian tissue can reduce pressure, improve local circulation, eliminate interstitial edema, and drain the cystic fluid after the cyst cavity is removed, which will reduce the levels of estrogen and androgen in the blood, thereby increasing the secretion of gonadotropin and allowing the follicles to mature. Because the release stimulated by negative feedback reaches a peak before ovulation, ovulation occurs. Ovarian wedge resection can also be performed laparoscopically, which results in smaller wounds, quicker recovery, and less adhesion.

Women suffering from polycystic ovary syndrome should not be too discouraged. They should believe that the disease can be cured and their healthy fertility can be restored. But you must choose a regular hospital for treatment.
