What should you pay attention to when sleeping during late pregnancy?

Many pregnant women do not pay attention to some details during pregnancy, which will threaten the safety of pregnant women. Therefore, once a dangerous situation occurs to pregnant women, pregnant women need to pay attention to timely correction, especially some pregnant women's sleeping posture and diet problems need to be paid attention to. So what should you pay attention to in sleeping posture in the late pregnancy? Let me introduce it to you below.

After pregnancy, you should pay special attention to your sleeping posture. It is generally not recommended to lie flat because the enlarged uterus may compress the inferior vena cava, causing lower limb edema or orthostatic hypotension. Special attention should be paid in the second trimester, especially in the late stages of pregnancy. The patient should be placed in the left lateral decubitus position so that the right-rotated uterus does not compress the inferior vena cava.

During pregnancy, the sleeping posture of pregnant women has an important impact on the growth and development of the fetus. In the early stage of pregnancy (1-3 months), the fetus is still developing in the uterus and in the mother's pelvic cavity. The direct pressure from external forces or self-pressure will not be very heavy. Therefore, the sleeping posture of pregnant women can be arbitrary, mainly taking a comfortable position, such as supine position or side position. Bad sleeping postures such as sleeping on your stomach or sleeping with your arms around something should be changed.

Lying on the right side is the best position, which will not put pressure on the heart and is also beneficial for the transportation of food in the stomach to the intestines. It is the best sleeping position.

Note on medications:

During the third trimester, your biggest headache may be swelling in your legs and feet. In fact, in most cases, no special treatment is needed, just pay attention to rest. If you find that your blood pressure is high, be sure to see a doctor and do not take the antihypertensive drugs you took before pregnancy at will to avoid unnecessary danger. In the final stage of pregnancy, although the fetus's condition has stabilized and the effect of medication on the fetus is not significant, you still need to avoid infection, and taking medication is always the last resort.

The above is my opinion on this issue. If a pregnant woman has problems during pregnancy, she needs to pay attention to timely treatment to ensure her health and avoid dangerous situations caused by the above problems, which will threaten the safety of the fetus. Finally, I wish the pregnant woman a speedy recovery.
