What to do if you have stomach pain during pregnancy

In the early stages of pregnancy, we are more concerned about the physical health of pregnant women. We will encounter many problems in the early stages of pregnancy, such as stomach pain when we are just pregnant. For such phenomena, we must pay attention to our physical health in time, which will be better for our body and the growth of our baby. Our body is the most important, so take good care of your body.

Abdominal pain in early pregnancy may be caused by the enlargement of the uterus and the involvement of the uterine ligaments. This pain is not very serious and only causes mild discomfort, but it will not affect daily life. The location of the pain is not fixed, sometimes it is in the left lower abdomen, sometimes in the right lower abdomen. The pain lasts for a very short time, which is normal. You need to pay attention to rest, improve nutrition, relax, and have regular check-ups.

If the abdominal pain is severe or there is vaginal bleeding, you need to go to a regular hospital's gynecology department for relevant examinations to rule out the possibility of threatened abortion or ectopic pregnancy.

? You may experience: rupture of the amniotic membrane, also known as water breaking; vaginal discharge that becomes thin, bloody, or mucous, or increases in volume; pressure in the pelvis or lower abdomen; persistent dull pain in the lower back; mild, crampy abdominal pain and/or diarrhea; regular contractions or tightening of the uterus, which is often not painful.

Causes: Many factors can cause premature birth, including maternal illness and stress. However, the specific cause of miscarriage is often difficult to determine.

When it may occur: Anytime between 28 weeks and less than 37 weeks of pregnancy.

What you should do: Go to the nearest major hospital immediately. Your doctor may prescribe medication and/or bed rest. If the pregnancy is successfully preserved, the doctor will most likely let you rest in bed and may also let you use medication to stop uterine contractions until full term.

Crampy abdominal pain during labor

You may have: Cramping abdominal pain and persistent pain in the lower back.

Cause: Increased pressure on the pelvis and rectum.

When it may occur: Last few weeks of pregnancy

The crampy abdominal pain during labor is much milder than the painful contractions you experience during childbirth. Some pregnant women find that resting on the sofa for a while can relieve pain, while others like to move around and take a walk. When labor does come, it will be helpful if you can find ways to relax and relieve pain that work for you.

The above is about the problem of abdominal pain in the early stage of pregnancy. It is very important for pregnant mothers. If you are pregnant, you should go to the hospital for regular check-ups. This is very good. The check-up will find out a series of problems, which will better help your health development. Your own health problem is the most important, so protect your health well.
