Is it dangerous to have a miscarriage at 5 months?

Is it dangerous to have a miscarriage at 5 months?

The baby develops in the pregnant woman's belly, and its outline can be seen in 4 months. Therefore, if miscarriage occurs once the baby develops to a certain extent, it will threaten the health of the woman's body. Therefore, women should choose the right time for miscarriage. What about miscarriage at 5 months? Is it dangerous? Let me introduce this issue to you below.

You cannot have an abortion during the 5th month of pregnancy. You need to have an induced labor, and the process is the same as a normal delivery. It is recommended that if there is no problem with pregnancy care, you should try to keep it. After all, the fetus has become a complete life at 5 months. If you must give up, the adult's body will be the same as during normal confinement, and you should pay attention to postpartum care, and there will be no major harm.

1. Generally, pregnancy can be terminated by induction of labor at 12-24 weeks of pregnancy. Inflammation is caused by viral or bacterial infection. Generally, the fetus may be indirectly infected by the mother's inflammation, which may lead to serious consequences such as premature birth, miscarriage, or even fetal malformation. If the inflammation is not treated in time, the condition will worsen and may also affect fertility.

2. As the uterus enlarges, the uterine wall becomes congested and softened, and can be easily damaged during surgery. The placenta has already formed, the fetus is larger, and the bones become harder, so the cervix needs to be fully dilated for delivery. Therefore, induced labor in mid-pregnancy is more difficult and has more complications than early abortion.

3. Generally, when a woman is 3 to 6 months pregnant, using artificial means to terminate the pregnancy is called mid-pregnancy induced abortion. Induction of labor is performed at this time.

The main symptoms of miscarriage are vaginal bleeding and abdominal pain after menstruation stops. When miscarriage occurs, the embryonic villi begin to separate from the decidua of the uterine wall (the endometrium during pregnancy), the blood vessels open and vaginal bleeding occurs. The abdominal pain is due to the contraction of the uterus to expel the embryo. The amount of bleeding varies, depending on the stage of the abortion. At the beginning, there is a small amount of bleeding, the uterine contractions are not strong, and the cervix is not open, which is called threatened abortion. As uterine contractions intensify, bleeding increases, and the cervix dilates, miscarriage becomes inevitable, which is called inevitable miscarriage. Once the embryo is completely expelled, the uterus contracts to close the cervix, and the bleeding decreases or stops, it is a complete abortion. If part of the embryo is expelled, but some of it remains in the uterine cavity, it will affect the contraction of the uterus, and the bleeding is often a lot or continuous, and the cervical os still does not close. This is an incomplete abortion. Inevitable and incomplete abortions often cause heavy bleeding. Sometimes women may go into shock due to massive blood loss and emergency curettage is necessary to immediately remove the embryonic tissue in the uterine cavity to stop the bleeding.

The above is my opinion on this issue that I would like to introduce to you. If the patient has the above problems, then it is necessary to pay attention to take appropriate treatment methods in time to ensure the health of the body and avoid danger to the patient due to the above problems, especially the patient should pay attention to prevent miscarriage which may cause danger to the patient.
