What causes endometritis bleeding? Endometritis bleeding is a common gynecological disease. Women have menstruation and uterine bleeding every month, but this is normal uterine bleeding, which is different from endometritis bleeding. If you find any abnormalities, you should check the cause in time. It is also important to get treatment early to prevent endometritis bleeding from becoming more serious. Causes of endometritis bleeding: (1) Although the endometrium is shed periodically, its basal layer does not shed with it. Once the basal layer is chronically inflamed, it can infect the functional layer of the endometrium for a long time, leading to chronic endometritis. The same mechanism exists in tuberculous endometritis. (2) Long-standing salpingo-oophoritis or severe cervicitis can lead to chronic endometritis. (3) IUDs can cause chronic endometritis. (4) A small amount of placenta remains during or after delivery, or incomplete restoration of the placental attachment site is often the cause of chronic endometritis. (5) For women after menopause, due to the significant decrease in estrogen levels in the body, the endometrium and vaginal mucosa become thinner and more susceptible to invasion by pathogens, leading to inflammation. In clinical practice, senile endometritis and vaginitis often coexist. (6) Uterine submucosal fibroids and mucosal polyps may also lead to chronic endometritis. (7) Chronic endometritis may also exist without obvious causes. The pathogens mostly come from the flora in the vagina. Other causes of endometritis bleeding: (1) Unhygienic menstruation, sexual intercourse during menstruation, or irregular sexual life can bring pathogens from outside the body or inside the vagina or cervix into the uterine cavity. (2) Mildly infected endometrium only shows congestion, edema, and infiltration of polymorphonuclear leukocytes and round cells. If the infection is severe, suppuration and extensive necrosis will occur, and the underlying muscle layer may be affected, resulting in acute uterine myositis. There are many reasons for endometritis bleeding. Women should pay attention to this type of disease because it can cause great harm to women and may cause infertility. Therefore, you must pay attention to prevent other complications. If endometritis bleeding occurs, you must seek timely treatment to prevent endometritis bleeding from causing greater harm. |
