What are the shapes of the uterus?

With age, the secretion of sex hormones. There will also be an increasingly larger physical gap between boys and girls. After the secretion of female sex hormones, the body's uterus will begin to develop. The uterus has many shapes. Let's take a look at the shapes of the uterus. Women should know more about this.

The uterus of an adult is shaped like an inverted pear and can be divided into three parts: the uterine body, the uterine fundus, and the cervix. The round convex part at the upper end is the fundus of the uterus, and the narrow part at the lower end above the entrance of the fallopian tube is the cervix. The part between the fundus and the neck is the uterine body.

Rehabilitation guidance: The inner cavity of the uterus is very narrow and can be divided into upper and lower parts. The upper part is inside the uterus and is called the uterine cavity. It is a triangular, flattened cavity with its base facing upward, two ends connected to the fallopian tubes, and a tip facing downward to the cervical canal.

The normal cervix is composed of three types of epithelium: squamous epithelium, columnar epithelium, and metaplastic squamous epithelium. The squamous epithelium that covers most of the cervix is a flat, pink, opaque epithelium that looks like the lining of your mouth. Columnar epithelium may be confined to the endocervical canal, or it may appear outside the endocervical canal, surrounding the external opening of the endocervical canal. This condition is called "epithelial ectopia" and is more common in young women. The columnar epithelium is redder in color and resembles the conjunctiva of the eye in appearance. These two epithelia merge at the squamocolumnar junction of the cervix.

The above is the classification of the shapes of the uterus. Different shapes do not mean that there are certain problems with our bodies. This is normal and not pathological. Learning more about this aspect is good for women's physical condition. Finally, I wish everyone can have a healthy body.
