What are the items in a gynecological full body examination?

For the health of women, regular physical examinations are the best way to detect diseases early. It can be said that if you want to detect diseases early, you must pay attention to the time intervals between physical examinations. However, when doing a physical examination, if you want to know more about your physical condition, it is best to do a full gynecological examination. This way you can better understand whether your body is healthy. It doesn’t matter if you don’t know what items are included in a full gynecological examination. This article will introduce them to you.

Routine gynecological examinations mainly include the following:

1. Routine examination of leucorrhea: can detect vaginitis caused by various bacterial infections.

2. B-ultrasound examination: check for ovarian tumors, endometriosis, uterine fibroids and other diseases.

3. Cervical examination: Observe whether there are tumors, ulcers, erosions, polyps on the cervix, whether the cervix is normal in size, whether the surface is smooth, whether the texture is too hard, and whether there is uterine prolapse.

4. Examination of the uterus and its appendages: Understand the location of the uterine fundus, whether it is active, and its texture. If the uterus is enlarged, too hard, or has an uneven surface, these are abnormal phenomena and require further examination.

5. Colposcopy: This examination is usually performed when the Pap test results are abnormal. A colposcopy only takes a few minutes and is not painful. Use a 10-40x binocular magnifying glass to directly observe the cervix for signs of cancer. If a suspicious area is found, it can be accurately located for the next step of biopsy.

6. Breast examination: Regular self-examination and infrared breast examination should be performed. Once breast abnormalities are found, timely treatment can effectively prevent and treat breast diseases and prevent disease progression and cancer.

7. Biopsy: Generally, specimens are obtained from the most abnormal parts for examination, including the vulva, vagina, cervix, and endometrium. It is most commonly used for the diagnosis of endometrial cancer and cervical cancer.

8. HPV test: detect HPV virus. It is usually performed at the same time as a cancer prevention smear test.

The above 8 items are the full body gynecological examination items. If you do all of these items, any diseases in the body can be discovered in time. Of course, if you feel that you do not have any symptoms of discomfort in your body, some examinations are unnecessary, such as biopsy, which is not suitable for everyone.
