Nowadays, many mothers start to worry about this and that when they are pregnant. Their concern for the baby exceeds that of anyone else. So many mothers start to consider doing B-ultrasound. This then raises a question. Although B-ultrasound can show the baby's current condition, it also has certain radiation and hazards. So, can a B-ultrasound be done at 45 days of pregnancy? Many mothers nowadays don’t know much about this. In fact, the doctor's advice is: Prenatal check-ups are generally done once a month within 6 months, once every half month from 7 to 8 months, and once a week after 9 months until the baby is born. If there are special circumstances, check-ups can be done at any time. Generally, you go to the hospital for the first B-ultrasound examination 50 days after the menstruation stops. If the menstruation is regular, you can see the gestational sac, primitive heart tube pulsation and fetal bud. Between 18 and 24 weeks of pregnancy, you should have a 3D B-ultrasound to check for fetal anomalies. This is a very detailed examination of the baby, including all organs. This is very important and must be done. At around 32 weeks, there is also a two-dimensional B-ultrasound, which is mainly used to check the baby's development, with a focus on the baby's biparietal diameter, femur length, amniotic fluid index, placental maturity, fetal position, etc. When the baby is about to be born, there will be another B-ultrasound, which is usually done after 36 weeks. The baby's fetal position, amniotic fluid, biparietal diameter, and femur length are also monitored. These data are all to see whether the baby can be delivered naturally. Generally speaking, these four times are basically necessary. As for some pregnant women who have more B-ultrasounds during the pregnancy, it depends on their own physical conditions. If any of them is not up to standard, they need to be re-examined and have to do more B-ultrasounds. This varies from person to person. Therefore, for many of our young mothers, they need to make appropriate choices based on their own situation during the 45 days of pregnancy. Too many B-ultrasounds will cause risks to both the body and the fetus. Therefore, we should not blindly believe in B-ultrasound. We should take good care of and protect our bodies and improve our physical fitness. For some routine physical examinations, it is also recommended to consult a doctor before conducting some examinations. |
