Female inguinal lymph node location map

The inguinal lymph nodes are located on the inner thigh, just below the inguinal ligament. The inguinal ligament is the line connecting the anterior superior iliac spine and the pubic tubercle. The inguinal lymph nodes are located on the superficial surface of the broad muscle fascia and are divided into two groups, upper and lower. Some lower limb infections can cause swelling of the inguinal lymph nodes, such as athlete's foot, skin damage and infection, etc. In addition, some tumors can also cause inguinal lymphadenopathy, such as low rectal cancer and anal canal cancer. The lymph nodes can flow downward to the groin, causing inguinal lymphadenopathy. Some systemic diseases, such as multiple myeloma, can also cause inguinal lymphadenopathy. Lymph node biopsy can confirm the diagnosis.

Men's inguinal lymph nodes are located on the front and inner side of the inner thigh and are divided into two groups: dark and light. Superficial lymph nodes collect tissue fluid from the lower limbs, lower abdomen and vulva. There are many inguinal lymph nodes, which are divided into two groups, left and right. Normal lymph nodes are less than 0.5 cm in size. Inflammation of the lower limbs, lower abdomen or vulva can cause inguinal lymph node enlargement. The swollen lymph nodes are obviously tender and have no adhesion to the surrounding tissues. After the inflammation subsides, the lymph nodes will gradually shrink. However, tumorous lymphadenopathy progresses slowly and adheres to surrounding tissues, expanding indefinitely.

The inguinal lymph nodes are located between the thigh and the vulva. The inguinal lymph nodes are located deep and cannot be touched under normal circumstances. Only when there is local inflammation or a tumor in the abdomen will the inguinal lymph nodes swell and the swollen lymph nodes can be touched in the groin. Patients are advised to go to the hospital outpatient department for relevant examinations, such as B-ultrasound examination of the inguinal lymph nodes, and CT scan or MRI scanner at other locations if necessary. If primary symptoms are found, they should be checked out in time to avoid serious complications.

If it is caused by inflammation, patients are advised to take cefuroxime capsules or amoxicillin capsules orally for treatment. Abdominal tumors cause swollen inguinal lymph nodes and require immediate surgical treatment.
