Is it normal to have frequent fetal movements after entering the pelvis?

Pregnancy is a gradual process. Entering the pelvis is one of these processes. Fetal movement is a common phenomenon during this period. Is it normal for the fetus to move frequently after entering the pelvis? In order to make all expectant mothers feel more at ease, let us now understand whether frequent fetal movements after the fetus enters the pelvis are normal?

Frequent physiological fetal movements refer to an increase in the number of fetal movements caused by activities or stimulation of the pregnant woman. Normally, pregnant women will feel frequent fetal movements in five situations:

1. After eating: After eating, the blood sugar level in the pregnant mother's body increases, and the fetus also absorbs sufficient nutrients, so the fetal movement will become more frequent than before meals.

2. When taking a bath: Pregnant mothers are usually more relaxed when taking a bath. This emotion will be transmitted to the fetus. Infected by this emotion, the fetus will be more energetic and the number of fetal movements will increase.

3. Before going to bed at night: Generally speaking, the fetus moves the most at night, and at this time the pregnant mother can calm down and feel the baby's fetal movements, so she will feel that the baby moves particularly a lot.

4. When listening to music: From the second trimester, the fetus can hear the sounds of the outside world. He prefers soothing and gentle music. Under the stimulation of music, the fetus will become more active, which is also a way to convey emotions. It should be noted that pregnant mothers should not listen to music that is too intense or loud, so as to avoid adverse stimulation to the fetus and cause abnormal fetal movements.

5. When talking to the belly: Studies have shown that the fetus can hear what mom and dad are saying. When communicating with the fetus, the fetus will respond with frequent fetal movements.

Normal pregnant women begin to feel fetal movements at 20 weeks of pregnancy. As the gestational age increases, the fetal movements gradually increase, reaching a peak at 32-34 weeks of pregnancy. After 38 weeks of pregnancy, the fetal movements begin to decrease gradually. If the fetal movement is greater than or equal to 30 times/12 hours or greater than or equal to 4 times/hour, it is normal. If the fetal movement is less than or equal to 3 times/hour for two consecutive days, it is abnormal, and the fetus is often suspected to be suffering from intrauterine hypoxia and distress. During the day, there are two peaks of fetal movement, one between 7 and 9 in the morning, and the other between 11 at night and 1 in the morning of the next day. At other times, especially in the early morning, fetal movements are relatively rare. The general rule is no less than 3 to 5 times per hour, and the fetal movement is about 30 to 40 times every 12 hours. However, if the fetal movement exceeds 10 times per hour, it should be considered as frequent fetal movement and you should go to the hospital for treatment as soon as possible.

The above is a series of explanations on whether frequent fetal movements after entering the pelvis are normal. In different cycle environments, fetal movements also have different patterns. Only when we understand these movement patterns clearly can we judge whether our child is in a normal and healthy state and ensure the child's health.
