How to use ovulation test strips after ovulation

How to use the ovulation test strip after ovulation? This question is relatively unfamiliar to most women. Nowadays, there are many women who want to get pregnant, but pregnancy is not that easy. Some people find it difficult to get pregnant because they are not sure about their ovulation date. The inability to accurately grasp ovulation adds an obstacle to pregnancy. In order to help women, we will explain to you how to use ovulation test strips after ovulation.

Ovulation test strips predict ovulation by detecting the peak level of luteinizing hormone (LH). It can be used for qualitative detection of luteinizing hormone (LH) in human urine, so as to determine the time of ovulation and the "safe period" in women's menstrual cycle, so as to achieve the purpose of choosing the best time for conception or using the "safe period" for contraception. It is an in vitro detection and auxiliary diagnosis of women's ovulation period.

1 This reagent uses human urine as the test sample.

2 Collect urine in a clean, dry container. Urine within a day can be tested, but first-morning urine is usually not used. The best time to collect urine is from 10 am to 8 pm. During the testing process for several consecutive days, it is best to use urine samples collected at the same time every day.

3 If the urine is visibly turbid, it must be centrifuged, filtered, or allowed to settle before the supernatant is tested. If the urine sample cannot be tested in time, it can be stored at room temperature for 4 hours or refrigerated at 2-8°C for 48 hours. For long-term storage, it needs to be frozen at -20°C and avoid repeated freezing and thawing.

4 Adding 0.1% sodium azide as a protective agent has no effect on the test results.

5 Reduce water intake within 2 hours before urine collection because a diluted urine sample will impede detection of the LH peak.

After ovulation, the ovulation test strip must be used correctly to test whether the body has ovulated. Therefore, women should pay attention to this issue. Only by using the ovulation test strip correctly can the date of ovulation be tested. Therefore, people should pay more attention to their bodies, especially female friends, and thoroughly understand their menstrual cycles.
