In fact, there are more and more gynecological diseases nowadays, the incidence rate is very high, and the diseases are becoming younger. This is all caused by the abnormal and irregular living habits nowadays. So let us take a look at the symptoms of submucosal uterine fibroids.

Main symptoms:

1. Abdominal mass: When the mass is large or grows too fast, you can often feel the mass in the middle of the lower abdomen. The mass is hard in texture and is easier to feel in the early morning when the bladder is full.

2. Abnormal urination and defecation: If the fibroids are large or grow in the cervix, broad ligament, etc., clinical symptoms of squeezing adjacent pelvic organs may occur. Such as constipation, frequent urination, increased residual urine, ureteral displacement, hydronephrosis, etc.

3. Menstrual changes: When fibroids enlarge the uterine cavity, increase the area of the endometrium, cause poor uterine contraction or excessive endometrial hyperplasia, or when there are submucosal fibroids, it can manifest as prolonged menstruation and menorrhagia. If not treated in time, it can lead to anemia.

4. Increased leucorrhea: Intramural fibroids increase the area of the uterine cavity, increase the secretion of endometrial glands, and are accompanied by pelvic congestion, resulting in increased leucorrhea. If it is a submucosal fibroid, its surface is prone to infection and necrosis, producing a large amount of purulent and bloody secretions accompanied by a foul odor.

5. Infertility: According to literature reports, about 25%-40% of women suffer from infertility due to fibroids compressing or twisting the fallopian tubes, affecting the normal function of the fallopian tubes, or fibroids causing deformation of the uterine cavity, hindering the implantation of the fertilized egg.

6. Lower back pain and abdominal pain: Common symptoms include lower abdominal distension, lower back pain, etc. Acute pain may occur in some special circumstances, such as torsion of a pedunculated fibroid or red degeneration of the fibroid during pregnancy, which may be accompanied by fever.

The above article explains in detail the symptoms of submucosal uterine fibroids. I believe everyone already has a basic understanding. In fact, if you encounter this disease in your life, you still need to go to the hospital to receive the correct treatment method, try to rest in bed, and have a regular diet.
