Can bilateral ovarian teratoma be cured?

It is very troublesome to have children nowadays. After all, the environmental pollution factor is very serious, so the incidence rate of some diseases is getting higher and higher. For example, some women will suffer from bilateral ovarian teratoma. It sounds very serious, so many people are very worried about this problem. I wonder if it can be cured. Don’t worry too much. Today I will tell you about whether bilateral ovarian teratoma can be cured?

1. Western medicine treatment of ovarian teratoma

Once a teratoma is discovered, doctors recommend removal. The presence of ovarian teratoma may affect women's fertility; whether the teratoma is benign can only be determined by pathological examination after removal, and teratoma has a certain rate of malignant transformation. Not removing it is like carrying a time bomb that may explode at any time. B-ultrasound suggests that the symptoms may be teratoma, but other situations cannot be ruled out. A pathological examination after surgery is required to make a final conclusion. Therefore, even if there are no symptoms, it does not affect daily life, and most teratomas are benign, surgery should be performed.

2. TCM treatment of ovarian teratoma

Teratoma is a common benign tumor of the female reproductive organs, which is called "stone mass" or "intestinal tract mass" in traditional Chinese medicine. Ovarian teratoma is clinically divided into three types:

1. Qi stagnation and blood stasis type: manifested by lumps on one or both sides of the lower abdomen. Small lumps usually have no obvious symptoms, while large lumps may cause palpitations, shortness of breath, back pain, lower abdominal pain, constipation, frequent and urgent urination, and petechiae on the tongue.

2Cold-dampness and stasis type: there is a lump in the abdomen. Edema of the lower limbs, fluid accumulation in the abdomen and chest, and poor appetite.

3. Qi stagnation transforming into heat type: severe abdominal pain, abdominal distension and nausea, fever and chills, mental depression, weakness and fatigue, increased vaginal discharge with a thick and fishy texture. The common characteristics of various types are that ovarian cysts are mostly unilateral, with intact capsules, mobility, smooth surface, no ascites, cystic, smooth cyst walls, uniform morphology, slow progression, and a long course of disease.

Ovarian teratomas are mostly caused by women neglecting to take care of themselves during menstruation or after childbirth, which allows the six evil factors to invade the body, or because of the seven emotions, which cause organ dysfunction, resulting in dampness, phlegm, and blood stasis that block the cell vessels. Over time, these accumulations lead to the formation of cysts.

Ovarian teratoma is usually treated with surgical resection, but most patients are unwilling to accept it. Moreover, it is expensive and leaves wounds. Even after resection, patients may develop cysts on the opposite side or the tumor may recur at the original location. Traditional Chinese medicine can achieve twice the result with half the effort in treating ovarian teratoma. Based on the theory of traditional Chinese medicine, treatment is based on syndrome differentiation. By flexibly applying the treatment principles of promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis, softening and dispersing nodules, promoting dampness and eliminating diseases, and eliminating accumulation and promoting qi, the "Tongxi Therapy" was used to clinically treat ovarian teratoma and achieved ideal results.

The above describes the question of whether bilateral ovarian teratoma can be cured, so this problem has been solved. I hope people can trust and know its specific treatment methods. I believe that the disease can be completely cured. Now that medical conditions are so developed, and there are many famous experts and professors, we cannot give up easily when human diseases occur. We must find better ways to solve and treat it. After all, human life is precious.
