Many female friends are now under great work pressure, and sometimes they have to work overtime until very late. This means they cannot get a good rest. In addition, bad living habits and poor hygiene habits will lead to many gynecological diseases. So, have you ever had white secretions from the vaginal opening? What should you do?

If white discharge appears, a leucorrhea smear test can be done to confirm the diagnosis. The most common symptoms of candidal vaginitis are vulvar itching and a significant increase in leucorrhea. The patient's itching symptoms are sometimes mild, sometimes severe, and sometimes come and go. The vulvar itching caused by candidal vaginitis is generally more obvious than that caused by Trichomonas vaginitis. Those with severe itching will be restless and unable to sleep or eat. Women may also have vaginal burning pain, especially when urinating. When the inflammation is severe, frequent urination, painful urination, and painful sexual intercourse may also occur. Increased vaginal discharge is another major symptom of this disease.

Leucorrhea is usually thick and viscous, and can be white or yellow in color, or it can be thin. The typical vaginal discharge of candidal vaginitis is in the form of tofu dregs or curds. Gynecological examination revealed: Depending on the severity of the disease, the labia minora and vaginal mucosa had varying degrees of congestion and the labia minora were edematous. There is a lot of sticky leucorrhea in the vagina or the vaginal mucosa is covered with a white film. After wiping off the white film, the exposed mucosa can be seen to be red, swollen, eroded or with superficial ulcers.

If it is confirmed to be candidal vaginitis, you can use 2% - 4% soda solution to rinse the vulva and vagina or take a sitz bath every day, for 10 days as a course of treatment, to change the acidity and alkalinity, creating conditions that are not conducive to the survival of fungi, and then use nystatin, such as powder, tablets, suppositories or ointments, to insert into the vagina or apply topically, 100,000 to 200,000 units each time, once a night, for 10 to 14 days as a course of treatment. The vulva can be coated with 3% clotrimazole ointment for better results. Since the disease is stubborn and prone to relapse, local treatment is generally the main treatment. You can also take nystatin tablets orally, 500,000 to 1 million units, three times a day, for 7 to 10 days as a course of treatment, and then recheck. It can be considered cured only if the results are negative three times.

Considering fungal infection. Candidal vaginitis is caused by infection with Candida albicans, a type of fungus. Unlike Trichomonas, Candida grows particularly easily in an acidic environment and is generally transmitted through contact. Symptoms: The most common symptoms are excessive vaginal discharge, burning and itching of the vulva and vagina. It may affect the urethra and cause frequent urination. Symptoms such as urinary urgency and pain when urinating. Treatment: Rinse the vulva and vagina with alkaline solution of sodium bicarbonate or soapy water to change the acidity and alkalinity of the vagina, making it unfavorable for fungal growth. After flushing, insert nystatin tablets or suppositories into the vagina and apply clotrimazole ointment on the vulva for better results.
