Introduction to the most serious degree of cervical erosion

For women, physical health seems to be more important. Cervical erosion is a common gynecological disease. Women face many embarrassing problems after suffering from this disease. Mild cervical erosion can usually be cured by taking medicine, while severe patients need more systematic treatment to recover. Next, we will introduce in detail the most serious problems of cervical erosion.

Cervical erosion is a condition in which there is a clear boundary between the red area around the cervix and the normal mucosa, and the surface is smooth or granular. Iodine solution does not stain. Cervical erosion is divided into three degrees:

1. Mild erosion (Grade I): The erosion surface is smaller than 1/3 of the cervix.

2. Moderate erosion (grade II): The erosion surface occupies 1/3 to 1/2 of the cervix.

3. Severe erosion (Grade III): The erosion surface is larger than 1/2 of the cervix.

Cervical columnar epithelium ectopia is a normal physiological phenomenon and has no special clinical manifestations. Some people may experience contact bleeding, but this is just an individual difference in the cervix, just like some people will bleed from their teeth or mouth when they chew something hard.

If the amount of vaginal discharge increases, becomes yellow, and has an odor, it is a sign of cervical inflammation. The cyst and hypertrophy of the cervix are also the result of chronic cervical inflammation.

Cervical columnar epithelium ectopia does not require any treatment, and many current methods of treating cervical erosion are wrong. But for symptomatic cervicitis, treatment is needed. Acute inflammation is treated with suppositories, while chronic inflammation can be treated with physical therapy such as laser or freezing.

The above content is an introduction to the severity of cervical erosion. For women, private parts must be cleaned in time to protect our bodies. Women also need to go to the hospital regularly for full-body examinations so that they can detect cervical erosion as early as possible and receive relevant treatment as soon as possible.
