How to care for breast reduction after breastfeeding

Many women worry about some problems during breastfeeding, the most common of which is weight gain. How to care for breasts that have become smaller after lactation:

1. Wear a bra regularly

You should wear a bra from the beginning of breastfeeding. If you don't wear a bra, your breasts will sag noticeably due to the added weight. Especially when the breasts are shaken violently while working or walking, the sagging will be more obvious. Wearing a bra can support and hold the breasts, which can improve blood circulation in the breasts, promote milk secretion and enhance the breasts' resistance to disease, and can also protect the nipples from abrasions and scratches. When wearing a bra, choose a style that is the right size and has a steel support. After putting it on, adjust it and use both hands to gather the fat around the breasts into the bra to make the breasts look fuller and more upright.

2. Correct breastfeeding during lactation

During the breastfeeding period, the mother should adopt the correct breastfeeding method and feed the baby alternately from the two breasts. When the baby has only eaten one breast, the mother should use a breast pump to empty the other breast to keep the size of the two breasts symmetrical. At the same time, do not let the baby pull on the nipple when feeding. During breastfeeding, mastitis should be avoided.

3. Massage your breasts regularly

Before going to bed or getting up every night, mom can lie in bed and massage herself. Put the index finger, middle finger and ring finger of one hand together and place them on the opposite breast. With the nipple as the center, make circles clockwise from the outer edge of the breast to the inside. Do this 10 times for each breast. This massage can promote local blood circulation, increase nutrition supply to the breasts, and facilitate the secretion of estrogen.

4. Breast Bath

When bathing, use a shower head to rinse your breasts. It is best to alternate between hot and cold sprays. The alternating stimulation of hot and cold helps increase chest skin tension and promote blood circulation in the breasts.

5. Don’t diet to lose weight

Some mothers, faced with their fat bodies, are eager to go on a diet to lose weight. The consequence of dieting is that the fat tissue in the breasts is also affected. The breasts will inevitably shrink. For postpartum mothers, it takes about a year to gradually restore weight, so don't rush to diet to lose weight, you should use other methods.

After understanding the care methods for smaller breasts after lactation, you can follow the above methods if this happens. However, it should be noted that if a woman's breasts become very small, after lactation, you can choose some breast augmentation methods, which will help improve breast problems. Women should also pay attention to this.
