They must actively cooperate with the treatment, otherwise it will have a great impact on pregnancy. Many people don’t know much about endometrial polyps. Endometrial polyps have many hazards. After suffering from such a disease, they must also be improved in time.

The dangers of endometrial polyps:

Endometrial polyps are caused by excessive proliferation of the endometrium and can occur at any age. They are a very common type of localized endometrial tumor that protrudes into the uterine cavity and is smooth and fleshy in hardness. The pedicles vary in length, with the older ones protruding outside the cervical os and some having shorter pedicles. Endometrial polyps are often complicated by polycystic ovary and endometriosis due to ovulation disorders, continuous endometrial hyperplasia caused by hyperestrogenemia, and lack of progesterone to transform the endometrium.

According to gynecological experts, endometrial polyps can occur at any age after puberty, but are more common in women over 35 years old. Single, small endometrial polyps are often asymptomatic

It is often discovered during gross examination after hysterectomy for other diseases, or is diagnosed after diagnostic curettage. Patients with multiple diffuse type often have menorrhagia and prolonged menstruation, which are related to the increase in endometrial area and excessive endometrial hyperplasia.

The main hazards are:

1. Causes irregular menstruation in women

. It usually causes women to have heavy menstrual flow and irregular uterine bleeding. Generally, the symptoms of endometrial polyps are not obvious. Many of them are detected only after the polyps grow out of the cervix and bleeding occurs.

2. Some complications may occur. Endometrial polyps are often complicated by polycystic ovary and endometriosis due to ovulation disorders, continuous endometrial hyperplasia caused by hyperestrogenemia, and lack of progesterone to transform the endometrium.

3. Causing female infertility. Endometrial polyps fill the uterine cavity, hindering the retention and implantation of sperm and fertilized eggs, and hindering placental implantation and embryo development. Combined infection changes the intrauterine environment, which is not conducive to the survival of sperm and fertilized eggs. Combined with fallopian tube or oophoritis, it can cause obstructive or anovulatory infertility.

Through understanding the harm of endometrial polyps, we know that if this type of disease is serious, it will pose a great threat to women's fertility. Therefore, when women find out that they have such a disease, they should seek timely treatment, and the treatment method should be chosen based on what is suitable for them. Only in this way can the disease control be very effective.
