Adenomyosis

Adenomyosis

Adenomyosis confuses many female friends. I believe you are not unfamiliar with it. So, what are the symptoms of adenomyosis? How to prevent it?

Symptom 1: excessive menstruation. Adenomyosis can cause the endometrium to thicken and the uterus to enlarge, so that the area of uterine wall shedding during menstruation will also increase. The thickening of the endometrium will affect the contraction and blood circulation function of the uterus, so menstrual bleeding will increase and the menstrual duration will be prolonged. Excessive endometrial hyperplasia is also a cause of excessive menstruation.

Symptom 2: secondary dysmenorrhea. Clinicians emphasize that the vast majority of patients go to the hospital for treatment only after experiencing symptoms of dysmenorrhea, and the dysmenorrhea of adenomyosis is secondary. That is, there was no menstrual pain during puberty, or even at the beginning of the growth period, but menstrual pain only occurred later. This type of dysmenorrhea is idiopathic and aggravated, and each menstrual period feels more severe than the previous one. The lower abdomen often begins to ache a week before menstruation, or begins to ache with menarche, which is more obvious in the first few days of menarche and gradually eases after the menstrual period ends. The menstrual pain in adenomyosis is more obvious than that in endometriosis, and gradually increasing pain levels are a typical symptom of adenomyosis. Adenomyosis is also very serious. If you ignore it for a long time, it will bring you a series of inconveniences.

Prevention

1. Pay attention to a balanced diet, adjust your own diet structure, pay attention to nutritional balance, eat more fish, meat, eggs, beans and other protein-rich foods and fruits rich in vitamins, take iron-containing foods, and avoid spicy foods, raw and cold foods, high-fat, high-sugar and high-calorie foods.

2. Develop good personal living habits. This is very important for many women and is relatively easy to achieve. Keep the lower body clean and dry, do not wear tight underwear with poor breathability, and change underwear every day.

3. Exercise to increase resistance. People who exercise regularly are generally in good health. Jogging, yoga, swimming, etc. are more suitable for women. Traveling with family and exercising after meals are also pleasant things.

4. Check up regularly. Women should pay attention to their health and check up regularly in their busy daily lives. If you feel any discomfort, such as excessive discharge, abdominal or lower back pain, you should have a regular physical examination immediately. Strive for early detection and early treatment.
