Treatment includes 1% menthol, 2% to 5% camphor, 1% dyclonine, 5% to 10% benzocaine, 1% thymol, lubricants (3% to 12% lactic acid), anesthetics (lidocaine, benzocaine, pramoxine), antihistamines or tricyclic antidepressant creams (doxepin cream), 0.025% to 0.5% capsaicin cream, various corticosteroids, calamine lotion containing antipruritic agents, creams containing antipruritic agents, etc. You can also apply local cold compress. Both have a certain antipruritic effect. Localized pruritus can also be treated with local blockade with drugs such as triamcinolone acetonide (tetracycline), prednisolone (prednisolone), and dexamethasone. Acupuncture injection of drugs such as vitamin B12, diphenhydramine, promethazine (phenergan), and scopolamine (654-2). Perineal pruritus can be treated with acupoint blocking therapy, such as using promethazine (Phenergan) 12.5 mg and vitamin B12 250 μg for blocking the Changqiang acupoint, 2 to 3 times a week, which is usually effective. For external preparations for the vulva, you should choose drugs that are less irritating and clean, and tinctures should not be used.

2. Physical and radiotherapy: Systemic pruritus can be treated with mineral baths, bran baths, starch baths, or a combination of ultraviolet radiation and medicated baths, and subcutaneous oxygen delivery. When localized pruritus is unsuccessful after multiple treatments, high-frequency electrotherapy or local liquid nitrogen freezing spray, transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) can be used. However, radionuclide 32P, 90Sr, microscopic boundary or superficial X-ray irradiation are not suitable for vulvar pruritus.

3. For patients with unexplained vulvar itching and no local lesions, psychological treatment should be strengthened.
