Uterine malformation pictures

The uterus is an important organ in the female body and an important place for the birth of new life. Therefore, the health of the uterus is very important. However, in daily life, many female friends have various problems with their uterus. Some of them have uterine malformations. So what types of uterine malformations are there?

What are the types of uterine malformations?

Although some female friends have uterine deformities, they may not belong to the same type. There are many types of uterine deformities, such as saddle-shaped uterus, which is a mild uterine deformity with slightly protruding sides of the bottom of the uterus and a sunken area in the middle. Therefore, it has no effect on pregnancy. Generally, you can just let it go and no special treatment is needed.

There will also be a bicornuate uterus, which is bicornuate in appearance. The probability of premature birth and miscarriage is higher, and the fetus is more likely to be in a transverse position. The fetus will usually be in a transverse position, oblique position or breech position. Also, because the pregnancy is on one side, the weight imbalance in the position of the uterus may cause distortion. In the late pregnancy, the uterus on the pregnant side will rupture, but it is very rare.

In addition, there are unicornuate uterus and rudimentary horn uterus. The unicornuate uterus may have insufficient blood supply to the fetus, which reduces the survival rate of the fetus and is prone to cause fetal intrauterine language retardation and transverse position of the fetus. The rudimentary horn uterus has no safe channel connecting to the normal lateral uterus, but sperm can also enter the abdomen through the normal lateral uterine cavity and bilateral fallopian tubes, and combine with the oocytes discharged from the ovaries on either side to form a pregnant egg, and then enter the rudimentary horn uterine cavity through the bilateral fallopian tubes on one side of the rudimentary horn uterus, and finally form a rudimentary horn uterine pregnancy. In addition, there are uterine malformations such as uterine septate and didelphys.

What types of uterine malformations are there? I believe that everyone is very concerned about this issue. Many people do not have a proper understanding of the uterus, and are very worried when they hear about uterine malformations. However, there are many types of uterine malformations, such as saddle-shaped uterus, bicornuate uterus, unicornuate uterus, rudimentary horn uterus, uterine septate and didelphus.
