How to judge whether women are allergic to condoms

Condoms are a common contraceptive method with a very good success rate, but not all women are suitable for this method of contraception. In real life, there are some women who develop allergies to condoms after coming into contact with them. This type of problem should be taken seriously. Many people do not know what constitutes an allergy, so we must be careful to distinguish. So how should we judge whether women are allergic to condoms or not?

1. If a woman is allergic to condoms, she may experience redness and swelling in the labia majora, labia minora, and vagina, on which small papules, papulovesicles, and even blisters may be seen. Some rashes merge into patches, which may show erosion and exudation, as well as itching and burning symptoms. If the scratching is more intense, the erythema can extend to the inner thighs and buttocks, and the erosion surface will expand, causing increased exudation, accompanied by severe itching. Because there are many bacteria living in the vulva, purulent exudation and pus scab infection symptoms may occur. Therefore, if you are allergic to condoms, you need to actively intervene and treat it early to prevent its spread.

2. If a woman is allergic to condoms, the main symptom is the formation of a rash in the perineum, and she will feel pain or itching. At this time, you can wash it with warm water and wipe it clean. You can also apply some antibiotic ointment on the vulva or flush the vagina with antibiotic solution. This can improve the symptoms and prevent infection. If the symptoms are more severe, you can take some anti-allergic drugs or use some hormones appropriately. The allergic symptoms can generally be improved or eliminated within a few days.

3. Condoms are mainly made of natural latex. Some people will have allergic reactions after using them. Women's vulva and vagina will experience itching and burning sensations, vaginal mucosal congestion and edema, and increased leucorrhea. Allergic reactions caused by condoms can usually return to normal after 5 to 7 days of treatment. So, if you are allergic to condoms, please don’t worry. Follow scientific care methods and your body will recover in a few days.
