Introduction to the signs of menopause in women

I believe many female friends will face the problem of menopause. Menopause is a problem that every woman will eventually face, and there are usually some related precursors before menopause. Many women experience some symptoms, but they don’t know that these symptoms are the precursors of menopause. If female friends do not take proper care of themselves, serious consequences will occur. Below we will introduce to you the signs of menopause in women.

1) Oligomenorrhea: The interval between menstrual cycles is long, from the normal 20-30 days to 2-3 months or longer. The menstrual volume may be normal or less than before, and the interval is gradually extended to 4-5 months or half a year, and then completely stopped.

(2) Menstrual cycle disorder: The normal menstrual cycle changes to irregular vaginal bleeding, sometimes the menstrual period is prolonged or becomes continuous vaginal bleeding, which lasts for 1 to 2 months; there may also be heavy vaginal bleeding, and the patient may suffer from anemia, sallow complexion, general fatigue, palpitations, and shortness of breath. In severe cases, hemoglobin may be significantly reduced. Some patients bleed repeatedly, and generally after 1 to 2 years, menstruation stops completely. At this time, the doctor should conduct a detailed examination, first excluding bleeding caused by tumors. For women over 40 years old, a comprehensive examination or endometrial biopsy should be performed. After excluding tumors, treatment should be given according to menopausal menstrual disorder. Premenopausal menstrual cycle disorder is the most common. According to reports, someone observed 282 premenopausal women and found that 181 of them had menstrual cycle disorder, accounting for 63.8%.

(3) Sudden menopause: A small number of women had normal menstrual cycles and periods in the past, but now suddenly experience menopause; some have normal cycles, but only have a few periods with a gradual decrease in menstrual volume, and then suddenly stop menstruating. It is reported that an observation of 282 women with natural menopause found that 40 of them had sudden menopause, accounting for 14.1%. Therefore, most of them are the first two manifestations.

Another part of patients present with uterine bleeding after a period of amenorrhea, which lasts for 2 to 4 weeks. The amount of bleeding and the duration of the bleeding are related to the duration of estrogen action and the speed of its withdrawal.

The diagnosis of menopause requires retrospective review and should be confirmed when the absence of menstruation lasts for at least 6 months to 1 year.

I hope that through these signs, female friends can understand more and take better care of their bodies. Don't ignore the details in your life, as details can often have a significant impact.
