Treatment of vaginal bleeding in ectopic pregnancy

Treatment of vaginal bleeding in ectopic pregnancy

Every woman has to go through the process of pregnancy. It doesn’t mean that a woman without a child is not a complete woman. So when a woman is pregnant, it is the happiest thing for the whole family. So have there been any abnormal phenomena, such as ectopic pregnancy? What measures should be taken for vaginal bleeding caused by ectopic pregnancy due to certain reasons? Let’s learn below.

Category 1: Application of anti-cancer drugs.

1. Indications: (1) Non-ruptured tubal pregnancy, gestational sac diameter less than 5 cm, intraperitoneal free fluid less than 100 ml, B-HCG less than 1000 u. (2) No abnormalities of the heart, liver, kidney or blood. (3) Certain special cases, such as cornual pregnancy and cervical pregnancy.

2. Contraindications: (1) Obvious symptoms of internal bleeding. (2) "B" ultrasound shows fetal heart beat. (3) B-HCG greater than 1000mIU/L. (4) Severe liver and kidney damage.

3. Main drugs: methotrexate (MTX) and tetrahydrofolate; 5-fluorouracil.

4. Method of administration: intravenous systemic medication, administration at the umbrella end through laparoscope, injection of drugs into the uterine cavity or pelvic cavity. All of these tasks should be done in the hospital under the guidance of a doctor.

The second category: application of traditional Chinese medicine. Specific indications and contraindications are the same as above.

The third category: using mifepristone and taking advantage of its anti-early pregnancy principle.

I would also like to talk about some causes of ectopic pregnancy:

1. Chronic salpingitis.

2. Abnormal development or function of fallopian tube

3. After IUD placement

4. After fallopian tube surgery

5. Pelvic endometriosis.

6. Migration of fertilized eggs.

Ectopic pregnancy may cause abdominal pain, irregular vaginal bleeding and other symptoms, but there may also be no symptoms. If there is a delay in menstruation, it is best to go to the hospital for a blood HCG test to confirm whether you are pregnant. If you are pregnant, do a vaginal four-dimensional color ultrasound to confirm whether it is an intrauterine pregnancy. If it is an ectopic pregnancy, it is best to undergo surgery as soon as possible, using laparoscopic fallopian tube and ovarian window embryo retrieval, without laparotomy or fallopian tube and ovarian resection. During the surgery, find out the cause of the ectopic pregnancy to avoid repeating the same mistake.

The above is the treatment method for vaginal ectopic pregnancy. Ectopic pregnancy is a disease that endangers women's health. It is caused by the fertilized egg implanting outside the uterus. This situation can cause heavy bleeding and affect women's physical health. After we understand these, it can help our daily life. We also hope that each of us can be healthy.
