Causes of itchy labia minora

Many women think that their vaginal discharge is caused by inflammation. Therefore, sanitary pads, care solutions, and cleaning solutions are used to clean the vulva. In addition to the above practices, some women also wrap their fingers with a towel and insert it into the vagina to wipe it. However, they did not expect that the more they washed, the more leucorrhea there would be, accompanied by symptoms of itching. What is the reason for this?

A healthy human body has a sound defense system that resists the invasion of various external pathogenic factors at all times. There is also a balanced ecological environment in the human body to keep all physiological and psychological activities inside the body under relatively constant conditions. The combination of these two is the body's immunity. The vaginal opening is connected to the outside world. Foreign substances that enter the vagina can enter the pelvic and abdominal cavities through the uterus and fallopian tubes. Therefore, the vagina is directly connected to the abdominal cavity. The vagina has a defensive barrier, which is the ecological environment inside the vagina.

The balance of the ecological environment in the vagina must be maintained so that the vagina can function as a barrier. The ecological environment in the vagina is composed of the resident flora and the immune system (immune antibodies, white blood cells, etc.) in the vagina, and the two are in balance. The balance of the ecological environment in the vagina of a healthy person is like an interlocking chain. If one link is damaged, the balance will be disturbed and the vaginal barrier will be destroyed.

Estrogen, lactobacillus and vaginal pH play an important role in maintaining the ecological balance of the vagina. Under physiological conditions, estrogen causes the vaginal epithelium to proliferate, become thicker and rich in glycogen, and increase resistance to pathogens. Glycogen is broken down into lactic acid by vaginal lactobacilli, which maintains an acidic environment in the vagina (between pH 3.8 and 4.4) and inhibits the growth of other pathogens. This is the "vaginal self-cleaning effect." If the internal balance of the guidance is destroyed artificially, all kinds of troublesome problems will naturally arise.

In fact, everything has its meaning of existence. What we should learn is not to easily destroy certain "natural barriers". Otherwise, the opposite of what you want will likely happen. Let everything remain as it is. Although it is not an easy thing, out of love for ourselves, we should try our best. What do you think?
