For qi deficiency with blood stasis and dull pain in the lower abdomen, add 9g of Peach Kernel, 12g of Corydalis yanhusuo, 15g of Red Ochre, and 15g of Flower Stone.

2. Treatment for kidney deficiency: tonify the kidney and consolidate the body.

Prescription: Guishen Pills with modifications.

Angelica 10g, Chouqiong 9g, White Peony 10g, Rehmannia glutinosa 12g, Astragalus 15g, Mugwort 6g, Donkey-hide gelatin 9g (melted), Roasted Licorice 5g, Cuscuta 12g, Psoralea corylifolia 12g, Agrimoniae 30g, Chinese yam 12g. Add or subtract: For patients with continuous bleeding, light color, cold pain in the lower abdomen and preference for warmth, add roasted ginger 9g, mugwort 6g, raw pollen 15g (wrapped and decocted); for patients with white and greasy tongue coating, poor appetite and loose stools, add Chuan Pu 10g, Zhi Shi 10g, Poria 12g, Chinese yam 12g.

3. Treatment for damp-heat: clear away heat, promote dampness and stop bleeding.

Prescription: Jiedu Siwu Decoction with modifications.

3g of Coptis chinensis, 9g of Phellodendron chinense, 12g of Anemarrhena asphodeloides, 10g of Artemisia capillaris, 9g of Angelica sinensis, 9g of Ligusticum chuanxiong, 10g of Red Peony Root, 9g of Scutellaria baicalensis, 9g of Paojiang, 30g of Leonurus japonicus, 9g of Cyperus rotundus. Add or subtract: For those with fever, add 9g of Honeysuckle, 9g of Schizonepeta tenuifolia, and 15g of Smilax glabra; for those with abdominal pain, add 15g of Corydalis yanhusuo, 12g of Chuanxiongzi, and 12g of Cynanchum wilfordii. If there is high fever, severe abdominal pain, and foul-smelling secretions, this is a serious infection and you can refer to the treatment of pelvic inflammatory disease and add Western medicine at the same time. If there is suspected residual disease in the uterine cavity, the inflammation should be controlled first and then uterine curettage should be performed.

4. Treatment for blood stasis: activate blood circulation, remove blood stasis and promote new blood circulation.

Prescription: Shenghua Tang with added ingredients.

Angelica 9g, Chuanxiong 9g, peach kernel 9g, Schizonepeta charcoal 9g, roasted ginger 9g, roasted licorice 6g, Shixiaosan 12g (wrapped and decocted), Leonurus 30g. Add or subtract: for long-term blood stasis turning into heat, add Red Caulis 15g, Patrinia 12g, Coix seed 9g; for patients with qi deficiency, add Codonopsis pilosula 15g, Atractylodes macrocephala 12g; for severe abdominal pain, add 6g each of Myrrha and Lactobacillus; for abdominal distension due to qi stagnation, add Costus root 9g, Atractylodes lancea 12g, and Linderae 9g.

5. Treatment for cold stagnation: dispel cold, remove blood stasis and stop bleeding.

Prescription: Wenjing Decoction with modifications.

12g of Codonopsis pilosula, 6g of Evodia rutaecarpa, 9g of Angelica sinensis, 9g of Chuanxiong, 10g of Paeonia lactiflora, 9g of Paojiang, 9g of Moutan bark, 5g of Zhigancao, 12g of Shixiaosan (wrapped and decocted), and 6g of fennel. Add or subtract: For those with headache caused by cold, add 9g of Schizonepeta tenuifolia, 9g of Angelica dahurica, and 9g of Saposhnikovia divaricata; for those with cold pain in the lower abdomen, add 15g of purple quartz, 6g of Sichuan pepper, and 15g of Huarui stone (decocted first).
