What is the pink color of vaginal discharge?

Gynecological diseases have always been a topic of concern for female friends. Women's reproductive organs are weaker than men. Because the vagina is relatively short, it is more likely to breed bacteria, leading to various gynecological diseases. As a woman, once any abnormal phenomenon occurs, you should seek medical attention immediately, because many diseases have complications, and ignoring them will only lead to deeper development of the disease. Some women will have abnormal leucorrhea. Have you heard of pink leucorrhea? Here is some knowledge about pink leucorrhea.

Abnormal leucorrhea refers to increased secretion or abnormal characteristics (under normal circumstances, the vagina and vulva often have a small amount of secretions to keep moist, which is called leucorrhea; it is composed of vaginal mucosal exudates, cervical glands and endometrial secretions, and contains vaginal epithelial exfoliated cells and white blood cells. It is white, thin, paste-like or egg white-like, highly viscous, without fishy smell, small in quantity, and has no adverse effects on women's health. It is called physiological leucorrhea and is related to changes in the body's physiological condition. If white mucus such as mucus and saliva flows out of a woman's vagina, accompanied by systemic or local symptoms, it is called pathological leucorrhea, which is mostly caused by physical weakness or phlegm and dampness, which is equivalent to vaginitis in Western medicine. However, routine examinations of leucorrhea often do not find pathogens. If abnormal leucorrhea occurs, Oqins can be used.

Leucorrhea is mixed with blood and sometimes appears pink or dark red. The bloody bands may be caused by benign lesions such as cervical polyps, cervical erosion, submucosal uterine myomas, and vaginitis in the elderly, but you should also be alert to the possibility of malignant tumors such as vaginal cancer and cervical cancer. The formation of leucorrhea in normal women is related to the action of estrogen.

It is white paste or egg white-like, and is an odorless, non-irritating, slightly acidic viscous substance. If the quality and quantity change, such as an increase in amount, or a change in color or taste, it is pathological leucorrhea. It is caused by some reasons that the normal environment in the vagina is destroyed, or by some gynecological diseases (such as inflammation of the genitals, etc.)

Common pathological leucorrhea are as follows:

Egg white or white watery leucorrhea. The vaginal discharge may appear normal, but the amount may increase. Attention should be paid to the presence of endometrial hyperplasia, ovarian dysfunction, and vaginal adenosis. In addition, women with systemic diseases such as anemia, diabetes or weak bodies may also experience this kind of leucorrhea.

Yellow or yellow-green purulent leucorrhea. It has a fishy smell and is mostly caused by vaginal inflammation, among which Trichomonas vaginitis is the most common. It is often accompanied by itching and pain in the vulva and vagina.

Cheese-like or bean curd-like leucorrhea. It is a typical symptom of candidal vaginitis.

Watery leucorrhea. Like rice washing water. If it has a strange smell, be careful.

Under normal circumstances, leucorrhea is white and transparent. If it appears different sometimes or there is an abnormality in the body, it must be a signal of disease. We must seek medical attention in time to avoid delaying the disease.
