Treatment of chronic cervical mucosal inflammation

Treatment of chronic cervical mucosal inflammation

We all know that the female body structure is very complex. If we are not careful in life, it is easy to cause gynecological diseases. Among them, chronic cervical mucosa inflammation is a relatively common gynecological disease. If it is not treated in time, it will seriously affect our fertility problems. The harm to women is very great. If such a disease occurs, we must treat it in time. Let us learn about the treatment of chronic cervical mucosa inflammation.

1. Drug treatment:

There are many drug treatments for chronic cervicitis, the following are commonly used:

1. Local vaginal irrigation and local medication: This is the most commonly used treatment method. For irrigation, you can use 1:5000 potassium permanganate solution, 1:1000 chlorhexidine solution, 1% acetic acid solution or 0.5-1% lactic acid solution. For mild superficial cases, you can use a cotton swab dipped in 5-10% iodine tincture or 5-10% silver nitrate solution to corrode the erosion surface locally, once a week, which can promote the healing of the erosion surface. However, when using it, you must be careful to avoid the liquid leaking onto the normal mucosa outside the lesion area. After applying silver nitrate, gently wipe it with a cotton ball made of physiological saline. It is now rarely used. Locally apply chloramphenicol tablets (chloramphenicol 250mg and prednisone 5mg tablets), put them deep in the vagina every night or every other night, and use them 10 times in a row as a course of treatment. Its effect is comparable to general disinfectant irrigation, and it can be selected according to the situation.

2. Vaginal fornix closure: See the other therapies chapter for details. It can be used for patients with chronic cervicitis combined with paracervical connective tissue inflammation, obvious lumbar and sacral pain, and cervical lifting pain, which seriously affects sexual life.

3. Jie'eryin, a Chinese medicine lotion: It is suitable for various acute and chronic cervicitis. Its main ingredients are Cnidium monnieri, Phellodendron chinense, Sophora flavescens, and Atractylodes lancea. Generally, 10% of the liquid is used for vaginal washing or sitting bath, once a day, and one course of treatment is two weeks.

2. Physical therapy:

It is currently the most effective and shortest treatment method for cervical erosion. It is suitable for cases with larger erosion surface and deeper inflammatory infiltration. Generally, only one treatment is needed to cure it.

1. Electrocoagulation: In the past, radial fashion electrocauterization was used, which took a long time to heal (6 to 8 weeks). Now, electrocoagulation is mostly used to iron the entire erosion, so it is also called electric ironing. According to the summary of 2095 cases in the Affiliated Hospital of Shandong Medical University, the effectiveness of electrocoagulation therapy for cervical erosion is 100%. For specific operation, first place the electric iron, and routinely disinfect the vulva, vagina and cervix. Use a vaginal speculum to expose the cervix, touch the electric iron head to the eroded surface, and iron evenly, with the range slightly exceeding the eroded surface. The depth of electric ironing is about 0.2cm. Too deep may cause bleeding and slow healing; too shallow may affect the efficacy. After electric ironing, spray furacilin powder on the wound or apply chlortetracycline glycerol.

2. Cryotherapy: It is an ultralow temperature therapy. The cooling source is liquid nitrogen, and the temperature is -196℃. During treatment, the appropriate probe is selected according to the erosion situation. To improve the efficacy, the freeze-thaw-freeze method can be used, that is, freeze for 1 minute, rewarm for 3 minutes, and freeze for another minute. Its advantages are simple operation, and rarely bleeding and cervical stenosis occur after surgery. The disadvantage is that there is a lot of vaginal discharge after surgery.
