What to do if women have high testosterone secretion

Excessive secretion of male hormones in women can cause many problems, such as obesity and excessive hair growth. This can affect women's dignity, making some women embarrassed, and can also cause problems with their health. Therefore, once a woman has excessive secretion of male hormones, the first thing she should do is to prevent this phenomenon from happening again and then choose treatment.

Treatment:

1. For patients with excessive androgen secretion, they need to undergo scientific examinations to see what diseases have been caused by excessive androgen. Obesity, infrequent menstruation, and amenorrhea are common symptoms. A relatively common disease is polycystic ovary syndrome. This disease is currently the most common.

2. If the final examination confirms polycystic ovary syndrome, symptomatic treatment will be needed based on the causes of the disease.

3. Drug treatment: The use of drugs to treat polycystic ovary syndrome will mostly counteract the effects of androgens and induce ovulation. They are willing to choose medication to treat polycystic ovary, but they don’t know that taking medication alone has almost no effect on polycystic ovary, and if used for a long time, it is likely to cause premature ovarian failure, or malignant tumors, or even fetal malformations. For patients with polycystic ovary syndrome, surgery is a better method.

4. General treatment: Patients with PCOS should actively exercise, reduce the intake of high-fat and high-sugar foods as much as possible, and lose weight. This can cause the androgen level to drop, which is beneficial for restoring ovulation.

5. Surgical treatment: Surgical treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome is the best choice for female friends. Currently, the main surgical methods for treating PCOS are: laparotomy - ovarian wedge resection, vaginal PCOS surgery, and laparoscopic PCOS surgery.

6. Generally, doctors will adopt some effective treatment methods according to the patient's condition. Generally, laparoscopic minimally invasive surgery is the most widely used method, with a high cure rate and little harm to patients.

The treatment of excessive testosterone secretion in women is divided into six major steps. First, go to the hospital for examination. After the results are clear, the hospital will take some effective treatments to treat the patient's disease. At present, there are still many treatment methods, as long as the patient does not delay the disease.
