Symptoms of menopause in women

Women will show many symptoms when they reach menopause. No one probably wants to enter menopause, but many women cannot avoid this phenomenon. Entering menopause also means that we are slowly getting older, and our physical condition is changing day by day. Sometimes some symptoms of menopause will affect the harmony of our family. Let’s take a look at the symptoms of menopause in women.

Normally, if we see a woman with a bad temper, we will say that she has entered menopause. Indeed, if a woman enters menopause, the most obvious symptom is a bad temper and overall she will have a lot of weird thoughts. Let's take a look at the symptoms of menopause in women and check whether you have entered menopause.

Physiological symptoms: Early symptoms include amenorrhea, irregular menstruation, atrophic vaginitis, hot flashes with sweating, and increased blood pressure; frequent urination and urgency: vulvar and vaginal atrophy, dryness, dyspareunia, vulvar pain and itching, frequent urination, urgency, incontinence in the bladder and urethra, relaxation of the uterine pelvic floor, prolapse of the uterus and vagina, and dryness and loss of elasticity of the skin, hair and mucous membranes; cardiovascular diseases such as angina pectoris, coronary heart disease, prone to fractures, low back pain, and loose and sagging breasts.

Being overly sensitive: Forcefully associating some unpleasant events happening around you with yourself and believing everything you hear. When I hear that someone my age has cancer, I immediately think that I might suffer the same fate.

Random thoughts: At home, when the child comes home late from school, one will wonder if there was a car accident on the road; when someone of the same sex calls home or the spouse comes home late, one will wonder if there is a third party.

Mental stress: Neurological symptoms include fatigue, headache, dizziness, irritability, anxiety, depression, insomnia, lack of concentration or indifference, tension or anxiety, and mood swings.

Weight gain: Fat accumulates in the abdomen, buttocks, breasts, under the neck and upper limbs; some patients have joint pain and osteoporosis, mainly affecting the spine, so they often have low back pain.

During the 45-55 years old period, some women will experience hot flashes, excessive sweating, physical discomfort and other symptoms of menopausal syndrome. However, some symptoms may also be manifestations of other organic diseases in the body and must be carefully identified to avoid delaying treatment.

Hypertension (blood pressure food) disease: Some women's blood pressure will rise during menopause, but it is mainly the systolic pressure that rises, and the diastolic pressure does not change much. The blood pressure fluctuates greatly during the day. The blood pressure can often drop to the normal range after sleep (sleep food), often accompanied by hot flashes, sweating, etc. There are no changes in fundus and electrocardiogram examinations. The blood pressure of hypertension often rises continuously, with both diastolic and systolic pressure exceeding normal levels, and is often accompanied by symptoms such as dizziness and palpitations. Organs such as the heart, brain, and kidneys are damaged to varying degrees.

Coronary heart disease: During menopause, due to autonomic dysfunction, vasomotor dysfunction occurs, causing precordial pain, which is persistent and dull, and sublingual nitroglycerin is ineffective. The angina pectoris of coronary heart disease is located in the lower sternum or precordial area. The pain is compressive or suffocating and radiates to the left arm. It can be relieved by taking nitroglycerin (oily food) sublingually. The onset of the disease is related to emotional and physical activities.

Esophageal cancer: Menopausal women often feel that there is a foreign object in the throat, which they cannot swallow or spit out, but it does not affect swallowing, and all examinations are normal. Dysphagia in esophageal cancer is progressive, and patients also experience progressive weight loss. Esophageal barium meal X-ray examination and esophageal sieve examination can reveal pathological changes.

Cervical cancer and uterine fibroids: Women's menopausal syndrome often occurs in the premenopause period, when menstruation becomes disordered. This is also the age when cervical cancer and uterine fibroids are most likely to occur. Therefore, regular gynecological examinations should be performed, and cervical smear biopsy and endometrial biopsy should be performed when necessary. Those with abnormal menstruation should go to the hospital in time for a clear diagnosis.

Everyone should pay attention to the symptoms of menopause in women. Although menopause is very common, some women cannot treat themselves correctly when they enter menopause. Sometimes they don’t know what the symptoms are and cannot regulate their mood and physical condition in time. This will have a great impact.
