Normal values of six estrogen test items

Normal values of six estrogen test items

Since the female body has to complete the task of reproduction, the structure of the female body is relatively special. What women are most concerned about now is the six normal values of their estrogen, but most women do not have much idea about this and think that these six normal values are not very important. In fact, only when these six indicators are normal can the female body be healthy.

The male body contains male hormones, while the female body contains female hormones. Estrogen plays a very important role in the female body. It directly affects the female's secondary characteristics and promotes the development of sexual organs.

The six estrogen items are the basic endocrine of women. The hormone levels can be measured by the six hormone items. The luteinizing hormone (LH) is 2-15mIU/ml in the preovulatory period, 30-100mIU/ml in the ovulatory period, 4-10mIU/ml in the postovulatory period, and the normal value in the non-ovulatory period is 5-25mIU/ml. A level lower than 5mIU/ml indicates gonadotropin insufficiency, which is seen in Sheehan's syndrome. If high FSH is accompanied by high LH, ovarian failure is very certain and no other tests are necessary.

Follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) is 1.5-10mIU/ml in the preovulatory period, 8-20mIU/ml in the ovulatory period, and 2-10mIU/ml in the postovulatory period. Generally, 5 to 40 mIU/ml is considered normal. Low FSH values are seen during estrogen-progestin therapy, Sheehan's syndrome, etc. High FSH levels are seen in premature ovarian failure, ovarian insensitivity syndrome, primary amenorrhea, etc. If FSH is higher than 40mIU/ml, ovulation-stimulating drugs such as clomiphene will be ineffective. Prolactin (PRL) The normal value of blood PRL is 0.08~0.92nmol/L. A level higher than 1.0 nmol/L is hyperprolactinemia. The level of estradiol (E2) is 48-521 picomoles/liter in the preovulatory period, 70-1835 picomoles/liter in the ovulatory period, and 272-793 picomoles/liter in the postovulatory period. Low values are seen in ovarian dysfunction, premature ovarian failure, and Sheehan's syndrome.

It is very important whether the estrogen level in women reaches the six normal values. If one of these six items is abnormal, it will directly cause endocrine disorders in women's bodies. Severe cases may cause irregular menstruation or infertility. Therefore, once women find that the estrogen level in their bodies is abnormal, they should seek medical attention immediately.
