Female hormones

Female hormones

Female hormones are what we are familiar with. They are sex hormones specifically referring to female vertebrates. Estrogens promote the formation of female reproductive organs and the appearance of secondary sexual characteristics (breast development, pubic hair, enlarged pelvis, higher voice pitch, etc.), as well as maintaining normal sexual desire. There are more than 400 parts of the female body that are receptors for female hormones, which are mainly secreted by the ovaries.

Female hormones are the guarantee for maintaining many functions of the female body. Once the body lacks female hormones, many diseases will occur. As women age, their ability to secrete estrogen becomes weaker and weaker. After menopause, they often experience vulvar atrophy, uterine atrophy, vaginal atrophy, sagging breasts, osteoporosis, aging skin, dry and gray hair, and tooth loss.

These are all signs of aging due to the decrease in the secretion level of female hormones in women, which will further lead to diseases such as vaginitis, ovarian cysts, oophoritis, endocrine disorders, constipation, and memory loss. Especially for coronary heart disease, the risk of coronary heart disease in young women is extremely low, but the risk of coronary heart disease in postmenopausal women rises sharply.

This is because after menopause, the level of female hormones in women's bodies drops sharply. Human aging is a normal natural law. Although it cannot be reversed, we can slow down the aging process through the right methods. Modern medicine has confirmed that the intake of certain foods can effectively increase the level of female hormones in women. Here are a few of them.

Soybeans are the most effective food for supplementing estrogen and can help women prevent some estrogen-related cancers. In addition, common peanuts, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, cereals and fresh royal jelly are all good helpers for women to supplement female hormones. Milk, tomatoes and various fish are rich in vitamin D, zinc, selenium and other trace elements, which can also regulate the balance of estrogen in women's bodies.
