Female perianal growths

Female perianal growths

Perianal warts are caused by the warm and humid environment of some areas, so their growth rate is much faster than that of warts in other parts of the body. So why do women’s perianal growths not cause pain or itching? Many people are not clear about this issue. Let's take a detailed look at it below.

What is the cause of female anal growths?

It should be caused by genital warts, which is a sexually transmitted disease. Having genital warts will cause serious threats to the patient's body and mind, and long-term infection will have a variety of complications. It is highly contagious and can indirectly infect relatives. It is recommended to carry out effective treatment in time to reduce the risk of lesions.

Damage caused by perianal growths

If not treated promptly or completely, it can easily spread into the anal canal and affect bowel movements. According to a survey, 10% of perianal warts can develop into malignant tumors; the probability is naturally low, and the time may vary from 5 to 40 years. However, not all HPV infections will lead to cancer; it is also related to the type of HPV virus. Therefore, patients do not need to worry as the probability is very low.

Prevention of perianal growths

1. Prevent germs: do not use other people's underwear, swimsuits and bathtubs; do not wash in public bathrooms, showers, and bathtubs. Use public toilets and wash hands with soap before using the toilet; avoid swimming pools with relatively high density and poor disinfection.

2. If a pregnant woman suffers from genital warts, you can choose a caesarean section to prevent the fetus from being infected during delivery. Do the same thing as giving your baby a tub bath after giving birth.

3. Pay attention to cleanliness and hygiene: wash the vulva every day, change clothes frequently, and keep the washed clothes and pants separate from your own. If the family members are large, even make a pot, the cotton towel can be reused.

4. It is strictly forbidden to have sexual intercourse with a direct relative who is sick. If the husband only receives physical therapy and the genital warts disappear, but the patient is still infected with human papillomavirus, he should also receive comprehensive medication treatment including oral medication and external washing, and be examined and treated. In addition, if you have sexual intercourse, you need to use the protection of condoms.

5. Prevent sexual promiscuity: 60% of patients are infected through sexual intercourse, through married life, but it is also possible for direct relatives to be infected, and through close contact with other people in daily life at home, which not only causes pain to his body, but also leads to family disharmony and too much pressure. Therefore, improving sexual morality and avoiding extramarital sex are the key aspects of preventing the occurrence of genital warts.
