Nine points to note for women's health care in summer

Nine points to note for women's health care in summer

1. Don’t put too much makeup on

If you use lipstick too much, the oil in it will penetrate into human skin, and it will also have side effects such as absorbing dust, various metal molecules and pathogenic microorganisms flying in the air. Through the decomposition of saliva, various harmful bacteria can take the opportunity to enter the oral cavity, easily causing "lip allergy". If you reapply eye shadow powder around your eyes, sweat will wash the eye shadow into your eyes. If you rub your eyes with your hands, it will be easier for bacteria to enter your eyes and cause trachoma or conjunctivitis.

2. Don’t spray perfume randomly

The areas where perfume is applied will undergo chemical changes when exposed to sunlight, causing redness, swelling and stinging, and in severe cases, may develop into dermatitis. The correct way is: the places to spray perfume should be the temples, behind the ears, behind the neck, inside the elbows, wrists, inside the knees and the inside of the skirt hem; when washing your hair, add a few drops of perfume to the last coat of clean water to keep the fragrance of your hair for a long time. In addition, you can sprinkle some perfume on handkerchiefs, shirts and accessories.

3. Don’t use daytime makeup for nighttime skin care

When people sleep, their whole body relaxes and their pores naturally dilate, making it easier for them to absorb nutrients from cosmetics. However, it is not advisable to use semi-solid cosmetics such as lotions, creams, and oils that are commonly used during the day for skin care at night, because these products can easily clog pores and prevent the skin from metabolizing smoothly. Therefore, water-based cosmetics should be used for night beauty treatments. Water-based cosmetics do not clog pores, affect skin breathing, or the normal excretion of sweat glands, and are more easily absorbed by the skin.

4. Don’t use other people’s cosmetics

Cosmetics may become a carrier of disease. Therefore, do not use other people's cosmetics to make up, and do not lend your used cosmetics to others at will.

5. Don’t pluck your eyebrows

Plucking eyebrows for makeup will give people a bald look. From a medical point of view, plucking eyebrows not only damages physiological functions, but also causes local infection due to the destruction of hair follicles and the stimulation of makeup coatings.

6. Not removing armpit hair

Some people think that it is unsightly to have their armpit hair exposed when wearing short-sleeved or sleeveless dresses in summer, so they cut it off with scissors, and some even shave it off with a blade. In fact, doing so is harmful to your health and can easily cause bacterial infection in the armpit area, which not only causes local pain and discomfort, but can also easily lead to symptoms such as swollen lymph nodes.

7. Do not use raw water to wash the perineum

Raw water refers to cold water that has not been boiled. Raw water contains many pathogenic bacteria, such as sexually transmitted disease pathogens. If you use raw water to wash the perineum, the bacteria in the water may adhere to the vulva, labia majora and minora, or even enter the damaged areas of the vagina, where they may grow and multiply and cause disease. According to relevant analysis results, many female patients with genital warts have one thing in common: they use raw water to clean their perineum. Therefore, experts recommend that women should not use raw water (including warm water or boiling water plus cold water) to clean the perineum. The water must be boiled before use to avoid causing disease.

8. Don’t wear metal jewelry

People sweat more in the summer, and the nickel and chromium contained in metal jewelry such as earrings, necklaces, and bracelets will dissolve in sweat and penetrate into the skin, causing contact dermatitis.

9. Wear stockings soon

If you wear stockings for a long time, not only will your sweat pores be unable to dilate, affecting the discharge of sweat, but the skin metabolic products in the sweat will also irritate the skin and cause itching, and even cause skin inflammation.
