What causes women to have stomach pain and blood in their stool?

Abdominal pain and bloody diarrhea seem to be two different symptoms, but in fact they can occur at the same time. Many people don’t know what causes abdominal pain and bloody stools. Generally speaking, the simultaneous occurrence of abdominal pain and bloody diarrhea is likely to be related to enteritis.

1. Abdominal pain and diarrhea occur, but there is blood in the stool. It is not yet clear whether the bleeding is intestinal bleeding or bleeding around the anus. Further observation is needed. Generally, hemorrhoid bleeding is mostly dripping blood after defecation, blood is on the surface of the stool, etc., while intestinal bleeding is mostly stool and blood mixed together. It is recommended to observe. First of all, you need to pay attention to rest, drink plenty of hot water, and temporarily avoid eating foods that are difficult to digest and cold and spicy foods. If everything is normal, then it’s okay. If abdominal pain and bloody stools occur again, it may be abdominal pain, diarrhea and bloody stools caused by acute enteritis, and you need to take medicine in time.

2. Abdominal pain and blood in the stool is generally considered to be dysentery. It is recommended to take Furazolidone tablets and Gentamicin tablets orally, drink plenty of water on a regular basis, and avoid irritating, greasy, and spicy foods. If necessary, intravenous drip treatment can be given.

3. Ulcerative colitis. This disease often causes persistent diarrhea. People with mild symptoms have diarrhea less than 5 times, usually accompanied by fever, stomach pain, frequent bowel movements, vomiting, etc. Its actual cause is also very unclear, and it may even be related to a person's mental state. The current history of this disease is also relatively long, and patients usually become increasingly thin and anemic as a result.

4. Ischemic enteritis. This disease is different from ulcerative colitis. It is caused by ischemia of the sigmoid colon. In simple terms, ischemia occurs in a certain part of the sigmoid colon, which causes damage or necrosis of that part. The clinical symptoms are bloody stools, abdominal pain, diarrhea, and a few people will experience vomiting, dizziness and other symptoms. It can be diagnosed through colonoscopy.
