The cold winter brings the world a silvery beauty, but it also quietly casts a little magic on children's delicate skin. But don't worry, here are some tips for children's winter skin care to help them protect their skin in winter.

Tip 1: Be careful when cleaning and don’t hurt your tender skin

Parents, bathing your children in winter is very important! Don't bathe too often, 2-3 times a week is just right, just like giving your skin a moderate cleansing holiday. If you bathe too frequently, your child's tender skin will suffer, as the precious oil layer on the surface of the skin will be stolen by a naughty elf. Without protection, the skin will easily become dry. The bath water temperature must be well controlled, and it should be warm and gentle, like a mother's warm embrace, about 37-40℃. Don't use hot water, as hot water is like a greedy little monster that will rob the moisture and oil in the skin!

The choice of shower gel should not be sloppy. It needs to be mild and non-irritating for children. Those with added fragrances, alcohol and other irritating ingredients should not be used. They are like little devils hiding in the dark and will hurt children's delicate skin. Moreover, shower gel does not need to be used every time you take a bath. It can be used occasionally. Excessive use of shower gel will make the skin fragile and sensitive, which is troublesome!

Tip 2: Moisturizing is the best way to keep your skin hydrated

After taking a bath, it is the golden time to moisturize the skin! At this time, you should quickly apply moisturizing lotion or moisturizer to your child, which is like putting on a layer of super moisturizing "magic armor" on the skin, which can lock the moisture tightly and prevent it from escaping. When applying, you can gently massage from the face to the neck, from the arms to the calves, so that every inch of the skin can feel the full moisture.

If you find small signs of dryness on your child's skin, such as the cheeks starting to flake like snowflakes, the back of the hands becoming rough, and the knees becoming dry, then the skin is shouting "I'm thirsty"! At this time, don't hesitate, and immediately take out the moisturizing product to save the day. When applying, you can apply more on the parts that are prone to dryness, such as the cheeks, nose, around the lips, back of the hands, knees and elbows, just like sending a cup of thirst-quenching water to these "small corners" of the skin, so that they become hydrated again. Note that different moisturizing products are suitable for different skin types. If your child's skin is oily, you can choose a refreshing lotion; if the skin is dry, then a moisturizing cream with high moisturizing degree is a better choice.

Tip 3: Take adequate precautions and don’t let the “cold air” hurt your skin

If your child is going to go out, you need to take protective measures like you are preparing for a big battle! The hat should cover the little head, the scarf should be wrapped tightly around the neck, and the gloves should be warm and comfortable. Protect the child from head to toe, so that the cold air can only worry outside and cannot touch the child's skin at all.

In a room with heating or air conditioning, the air is dry. If a child stays in such an environment for a long time, the moisture in the skin will be sucked away little by little. Therefore, try to avoid letting your child stay in such a dry environment for too long. If the air feels so dry that you can hear the "protest" of the skin, then quickly use a humidifier, the "little guard". A humidifier can increase the humidity of the air and make the indoor air moist, just like creating a small moist "oasis" for the child, so that the skin can breathe comfortably in such an environment.

In addition, when the sun is strong, if your children are going out, don't forget to apply children's sunscreen. Although the winter sun doesn't seem that strong, ultraviolet rays can still harm children's skin. Sunscreen is like a small sun umbrella to block the damage of ultraviolet rays for the skin.

Follow these tips to ensure that children can have healthy and moist skin in the cold winter, spend this silvery season happily, and stay away from skin problems.
